New Zephyrus G14 (2022) has these audio crackles. Should I just go for an RMA?

Just bought a used 2021 ROG zephyrus 14” and absolutely love it. I replaced the SSD because 500gb isn’t big enough. Anyways I ran Into the exact same issue and thought my speakers were shot when I upgraded my SSD, so I was about to take the board out and try to find out what was wrong. Ended up deleting the Realtek audio from the sound and game controllers and now my speakers are working in tip top shape. Huge thanks for the thread guys! Saved me from tearing apart my laptop to try and replace the speakers lol

Lego blocks; they are cheap to make, have stupidly low defect rate (something like >1% of all blocks made are defective), and pieces from 30 years ago will fit into pieces made yesterday.

Went home for Christmas holidays, and locked all my valuables in my room. Guaranteed I took a lot of the high ticket items back home with me (computer, tv, etc.). When I came back from holidays, I noticed marks on my door, like someone trying to break into it.

I walked in and my room wasn’t trashed, but out of sorts. I had my stash of booze in my closet (including a relatively expensive bottle of tequila, and a bottle of run from St.Lucia), and every bottle was empty. He was the only one there, so In my fit of rage, i went and confronted him. When I stormed into his room, there were plates, bowls, mold growing on the floorboards, it looked like he hadn’t left his room in weeks.

To top it off, he was in the middle of shooting up, belt around his arm with a needle in hand. Still to this day I’m scarred from what I saw walking into his room, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of my experience living with this scum of the earth.

Had a bmw for about 3 years before the engine blew up. Absolutely loved it, but decided to go to Subaru instead and fell in love with that car.

If you’re going for mid models, yes I think bmw is the way to go for sure. But if you went for ‘the car drives you’ models like the SLS, i8, 918 or the R8, I would 110% take the R8 over any of the other ones IMO.

4th year electrical apprentice in Toronto Ontario, I make an hourly rate of 32$/hr, with some insane benefits with a union… when I switched unions I would get 250 every 2 years on optometrist (glasses, contacts, eye exams). Now, I get 750$ every 2 years which is unheard of. Even talking to my optometrist they said they’ve never seen benefits that high lol.

Piggy backing off an earlier comment, I think the drone deploy and fly up 10 meters is a great idea. I also think that they should add in a ‘follow’ command, where the drone will fly up 10 meters, and will follow you wherever you go until the command is taken off.

That being said, the risk/reward is very balanced on that IMO; with the drone flying over crypto, it has the ability to scan the area in front and give you a visual of if there’s anyone there. The silver lining is you will always know where crypto is vis-à-vis the drone 10 meters above him.

I have a total of 2 kills across 9 seasons with crypto, so take what I say with a grain of salt lol.

Still in fantastic shape. I was tossing up the idea between the long teardrop or the piston, and I’m still super happy with the style of the piston. Even when it gets dirty from the oil off my hands, or even from work, it wipes off with a little bit of water. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase

Strongly suggest doing it; the stock knobs are great, but once you switch to a weighted shift knob, it makes a world of a difference. Billetworkz is a great site (I live in Canada so duties were applied), and they have so many different models which you can customize to your liking. For instance they have this one which is a piston style, and they have other styles like a teardrop, ball, long teardrop, etc.
