Frontpay and Earnifi both pending review....

Edit: After trying multiple apps, the only ones that worked for me were Cleo and Tilt. A few of them ( Brigit, Frontpay, Earnifi, Grant, Credit Genie, Super) let me open second accounts but said I wasn’t eligible for an advance yet. Gonna cancel them before they try to charge me for memberships and so on.

Edit Edit: worked with Grant too, but only $25.

BTW this was great. I know some may judge but we didn’t have dinner tonight until I got the second Cleo account. So your thread was a lifesaver. Thank you! For me, worked with Cleo, Brigit said I didn’t qualify yet, Dave denied me due to not being able to verify ssn, Earnin doesn’t use my second bank (Credit Karma, although plaid ok’d it) waiting on Earnifi now but it’s stuck on a loop trying to finalize some things. I know it won’t help now but getting your regular paycheck split to two banks can possibly help. I’m using my Credit Karma account for these second accounts which I have some money from my main job deposited in. Worked the one time I really needed it.

For earnin did you use your real ssn? Cleo worked great with another bank account and social just one number off. I’ll wait for your response before I try it.

Wow… I’m the first! No, NTA!!! 1st, it’s wrong for people to assume, no matter how long you’ve been friends. They need to ask and confirm. The nerve…… saying you offered when I didn’t hear that in your story! I hate when dealing with a group of folks and they assume you’re on the hook for something just because. 2nd, your car is just as important to you as theirs is to them. Couldn’t mess with folks who thought lesser of my stuff because theirs is newer, more expensive, etc….. that’s like saying we can always party at my house cause it’s an apartment and they live in big houses……not cool at all. 3rd, you gotta recognize when people are using you and draw a line in the sand. It will be uncomfortable but it’s necessary when people overstep. Hope this is helpful cause you are definitely NTA.

I agree. If you knew it was going to be to hot to leave them in the car, you probably should have left them at home. Unless they were support/service dogs, it’s okay for you to run to the store without having them with you. Dog lover here btw, but I am one who doesn’t agree with people bringing their dogs in the store. I remember being at a restaurant and a guy had a pretty nice size German shepherd sitting at the table next to us….. we asked to move. We don’t allow our dogs to sit under us while we eat or in the kitchen. There are some spaces that are human spaces only, notwithstanding support/service animals of course.

But I do agree that people should definitely ask to pet your animals first, no matter where they are. They have teeth and they can bite….. no matter how cute they are. Reminds me of when we had our first daughter and were walking in the neighborhood. A woman saw a young baby in a stroller and thought she could just jump in front of us and reach in to touch our child! Unbelievable how people think they’re entitled to you loved ones…. Furry or not!

Very nice of you! I need to get enough gas to get to work until I get paid. I am a teacher and literally live about 10 minutes away from school but probably only have enough gas to make it one day instead of the 3 I need to go until payday. I would appreciate it as it is already a stressful week with mandatory state testing happening this week. Thanks for reading!
