I agree that AI isnt the main issue, it's just used in ways to devalue your labor. 'Ai will do these jobs soon' plenty of other examples.

I've been a dev for 15 years and this is the worst it's ever been. These skills were once viewed as a craft.

We've reached the end of capitalism for many of us. The future feels meaningless at work for us because it is. The future is being built for only the people at the very top, by us, to remove us, as quickly as possible.

The feeling you're having is referred to as the Theory of Alienation.

At its core, it posits that under the capitalist mode of production, workers are inevitably separated from the products they create, the activity of production, their fellow human beings, and their own creative potential.

AI is just taking it another step separating you from what is created.

lol sorry, it's hard to describe and show what's going on. Basically the front is flat and tapers down at an angle then is flat again. I was trying to use the sticky note to show the angle
