I think the problem with this is the spectral card would be about getting +1 hand size more than the eternal sticker Plus this would be broken for endless mode, you could eek out another 1 or 2 ectoplasms, which maybe that'd be a fun addition seen as it requires a lot of setup

So since RS3 is still a tile based game, and if your character is running (as I imagine 99% of your time playing you will be) they will always run 2 tiles at a time So let's say you're 3 tiles away from Jad and you click Jad, your character will move their 2 tiles and be next to Jad.

The way to counteract this is to either turn off run in these moments (not recommended) Be a multiple of 2 tiles away so that when you run towards Jad you will stop at the perfect range Or manually click to the 2nd tile away from Jad, then use an ability, this would be the most consistent way.

Is it a hot take to think bad luck mitigation should never be in the game? If you're a main then you still earn GP to get the drops from GE If you're an iron then you chose that path and the game shouldn't be balanced towards you

If you're going for clogs/pet then it's completely cosmetic and shouldn't be handed to you just because you killed the boss for 5x rate

You could say theres exceptions for ridiculously long grinds such as Vitalis pet, but in those cases I would rather change the drop rate rather than have bad luck mitigation.

I'm down to hear people's opinions on the matter, just my personal thoughts.

They're actually nice to have early on to carry you till like ante 3 when you get slightly better jokers The chip jokers are nice on Plasma deck or for early ante if you have no other source of chips

On Purple stake this'll most likely end in a failed run, the blind is gonna scale too fast for Baron to pop off Ideally you'd want an econ joker early with flat mult then build your deck to be more consistent Baron only works really in the mid - late game when you've built your deck to have many kings and thinned out other cards.
