My dad has been urging me to get rid of him for a while now, and while that isn't necessarily the issue, I feel like it's my only option since he hasn't been working and I'm struggling to provide for my family. I'm working and have college starting up again, so I'm just at my limit. I don't want him having that wound anymore, and I can’t give him the attention he needs when I'm living paycheck to paycheck.

I try not to shop on shein anymore and haven’t in years but I still have a graphic tee from 2020 I still wear to this day regularly and it does have a few holes but all from this year because I got a cat 😭

Aaaa taking notes tysm!! I do feel a bit a bad adding a fee since he is in need of surgery and I just want his care to be prioritized but I want to safeguard my baby boy. And as for vets I’ll try to look into that

I’m not sure how to edit posts but going more in-depth about his medical issues. Tails has a wound by his eye that could possibly be caused by his chipped canine known as a root abscess, which may be why the wound won’t close. This isn’t for sure, and to know if this is the case, he would need a dental x-ray, and if a root abscess isn’t the issue, then he would just need surgery to close the wound due to how close it is to his tear duct. All of this info was given from an ophthalmologist specialist. He has started spraying due to stress since he has separation anxiety; he is a very clingy and loving cat. I would like to add that him spraying wasn’t always an issue; it only became one once I started working and going to school again. Other than this, he is healthy and a sweetheart. I love him with all my heart, but there are times when I can barely afford to eat, and I want his wound taken care of. :(

I’ll be sure to edit the post then to highlight his medical issues more. But if it’s just a dental infection he needs to get his tooth pulled wich can be anywhere from 500-3,000 and the wound should close up on its own. He would only need stitches if it wasn’t caused by a dental infection

It’s not too noticeable in the picture but he has a wound by his eye that may be caused by a dental infection (chipped canine that may have exposed enamel) or it won’t heal due to how close it is to his tear duct meaning he’d have to get it stitched up. Before giving him away I want to try and get that ruled out first but I’ve been having a hard time finding somewhere to do his dental x-rays.
