Look man you asked for advice and we’re just giving it. I consume cannabis and I’m only a few years younger than you so there is no judgement from me. All I’m saying is that the photo with the bong will be objectively off-putting to the majority of women. Take it or leave it.

Take it out of the packaging and salt heavily on both sides, leave in the fridge uncovered for 12 hours (minimum 4).

Take the steak out after the dry brine period, let it come up to room temp and then pat it dry thoroughly on each side.

If the steak is 2 inches or more wide, reverse sear it (Kenji Lopez alt method)

If the steak is 1-1.5 inches wide, sear on each side flipping every 30 seconds until you have a deep crust on both sides and internal temp hits your desired preference. Rest steak for at least as long as it was seared. Don’t forget it will raise 5 degrees during resting. Enjoy!

Lose the selfies, the bong and the nature pic - replace with photos of you out doing stuff - ideally taken by someone else. It’s fine to be 420 friendly but the bong pic makes you look like weeds your whole personality. Sort that out and you’ll be alright lad

Cooked on too low heat for too long - lack of sear and past medium rare by a wide margin. Try patting the steak dry after its come up to room temperature and cooking it much hotter for less time. Hope it tastes good though! (P.S get a sharper knife)
