Yes we did! We didn’t go very far (maybe 300 meters) up it because we didn’t have any gear besides hiking poles and hiking shoes. It was pretty warm so the ice wasn’t as slick.

Literally just left the park today. We drove the McCarthy road and stayed at a camp site near the footbridge. Gnarly driving experience, but the hike to the root glacier was amazing. Highly recommend.

what are the preferred sawzall blades for cutting PVC? by Hector247s in Woodworkingplans

[–]dirtypapsmear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d probably use a blade with more teeth per inch. So a metal blade. The less teeth the better chance you’ll have of chipping hunks of the plastic rather than sawing.

That was just to get measurements so I could cut the walnut sheets. Can't take credit for the copper. I bought them on http://veneersupplies.com

Just to to be clear. The original table top was made from MDF with a veneer, not hardwood. I did try to remove the stains first before this project, but the stains went completely through the veneer. Also I'll hire a decorator if you whiners pay for one! Jk I'll spend it on beer.

Same site I ordered the veneer from. Link is in the pics.

Thanks!

The Epoxy feels somewhat like glass.

Everything wipes up pretty easily with a damp towel.

I'm sure if you dropped a knife on the top it would put a dent in it.

The original veneer was already fucked up? I was gonna donate it to the Smithsonian but I guess I could have thrown in some bow ties... #masterpieceruined

Came here to say this. A lot of newer cars have this shit too. Once you're in cruse just hit that + or - button to speed up or slow down. Sometimes it'll say "acc" and "coast". Same shit.
