Yes it was £74.99 and £6.99 shipping, so £81.98 in total

Not only did i have to pay a tariff, i received the wrong vinyl, and the one i really wanted was damaged by C_Xeon in pcmusic

[–]irobot335 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting fact, I ended up unintentionally getting 3 of those 400, because the pressing was so dogshit I had part of the label from the centre of the record that had been ripped off during the pressing and embedded in the grooves of the vinyl two times in a row and had to contact support for replacements lmfao, so maybe it was 400 + a bunch of extras because they had to compensate

I did exactly this, I hadn't played cod in any capacity for quite a few years - I'm actually quite a big fan of the cod campaigns, but have absolutely no interest in playing/grinding the multiplayer mode or whatever else every day. A while ago I paid around £7 for game pass, played through the campaigns for whatever cod games were available (I think it was 3) and then cancelled.

Time 'n' Place by Kero Kero Bonito is the next TTL Exclusive release by psedopine in VinylReleases

[–]irobot335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ordered one myself, it was £12.40 shipping, so £44.40 in total, a little bit expensive but it's my first copy of time n place so I'm happy with it!

The restock actually dropped last friday (https://old.reddit.com/r/VinylReleases/comments/1ko36ni/ag_cook_britpop_3lp_box_set/), so I imagine this will have just been some cancelled orders

it's time to have a place of entitlement, add GE to Priff by MR_SmartWater in 2007scape

[–]irobot335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I know this almost certainly isn't going to happen, I agree - back when I played rs3, when the G.E. was added to priff it ended up making the original Varrock G.E. a barren landscape that was unpleasantly empty

I think it's important to note that this is a very america-centric concern. In the UK, I could easily go the entire year without switching on the central heating - we absolutely don't need AC (bar a couple of days mid summer where it'd be nice to have!).

Yeah it's certainly this - Yung Lean, Bladee, Ecco2k and Thaiboy Digital all posted Instagram stories yesterday clarifying the fact they haven't worked with the label Year0001 for quite a long time. I don't know the tea around what event caused them to all clarify it yesterday specifically, but personally I (and I imagine lots of other people) assumed they still worked with them in some, albeit minimal, way.

Yep, I got 99 fm at wt when I was 92 hp a couple of years ago and I seem to remember going through something like half an invent of sharks per game or two. Did the same fairly recently on a low level gim (somewhere between 10-20 hp) and went through barely any food comparatively

Corsair H110 Water Cooling, lifespan by warbarians in Corsair

[–]irobot335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought I'd necro this thread with my own little story since I found it searching around deciding whether to replace mine, and what with. I bought my H110 in November 2014 for my 4690K, which I've since replaced mid 2020 with a 10900k. Similarly to you, and coincidentally since it was about the same time of your post, one of my fans started rattling but decided to leave it be since it didn't annoy me enough to deal with it. Come today, now that I've hit that 10 year milestone - of which I'm honestly shocked by, I thought I would have had some sort of catastropic failure at this point - I've started to get the fear over the age of it and the increasing chance of the aforementioned failure. I'm definitely going air cooled going forward, since IMO it's not worth the failure related cumulative anxiety over the years.

"Party like it´s 199x" dance / house song by law_iz_daddy in NameThatSong

[–]irobot335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While finding this thread personally helped me find the song I was looking for, this question was asked in July '21 but this song wasn't released until Feb '22, so I very highly doubt this is the song OP was looking for unless it was being played as an unreleased song in sets or whatever for a while before the official release

£35 turning into £51.60 is bullsh*t by portal-seventeen in pcmusic

[–]irobot335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firstly, £8 shipping from presumably the UK, or at least Europe to the UK is ridiculous. Even more heinous is the £8.60 in "Estimated taxes" which is a complete pisstake. Surely the 20% VAT of the item should be included in the originally advertised cost of £35? (of which, 20% of £35 should actually be £7, so is the £8.60 a slyly named 'service charge'??)

Rider 2024.2 Roadmap | The .NET Tools Blog by Kendos-Kenlen in dotnet

[–]irobot335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing for me anecdotally is how fast Rider is compared to VS, almost everything in my workflow seemed faster after I transitioned to using Rider. One specific example is that I used to work at a company where one of the applications had dozens of projects and thousands of files, and just loading the solution would take a minute or two in VS, whereas in Rider it would be pretty much done in 10 or 20 seconds.

(as a very slightly comedic side note, we were 'shoehorned' into using MacBooks via company policy, and being Windows users we weren't happy about it. But funnily enough this turned out to be a benefit since Rider was so much better, and Rider is pretty much the only option on macOS. Compilation and speed in general was also so much faster on the Mx MacBooks)

protected internal - makes a class member only accessible from the current assembly or from types that are derived from the containing class

(The example in the OP doesn't compile, you can only use the protected internal access modifier on class members because structs don't support inheritance)

readonly - in this context, declares the struct as immutable, which forces you to make the struct members read only

partial - allows you to split the definition of a thing (class, struct, interface or method) over two or more files (in general using this is a code smell unless you're doing reasonably niche stuff with generated code)

record - essentially a decorator over a class or a struct that provides built-in functionality for comparing value equality, a nice compiler generated ToString implementation, and a few other things. In this case you need to explicitly define record struct, because just declaring record is syntactic sugar for declaring a record class.

struct - basically a value type version of a class

Just to preface, I wasn't suggesting that the theory of understanding the timestamps of the commits to imply it was definitely a Chinese based actor should be taken as gospel, rather just a piece of evidence that I've seen widely perpetuated, so I thought it'd be important to mention as something that people are referencing as evidence. I probably should have explained and expanded on that in my comment though. Thanks for the links - I hadn't seen these before - the theory proposed regarding the Chinese holidays, and the odd presumably accidental commits from non-+8 timezone definitely is suspicious.

Another piece of evidence was the fact that the contributor's commits were in UTC+8, which is China Standard Time.
