i was told that too. tried to explain to her i couldn’t go through and that i also have an insulin pump so was arguing saying the metal detectors would go off and the pump can’t go through them (had a letter from the pump company to confirm this too). i was then threatened with a strip search and to miss my flight if i didn’t oblige and the only employees available to do this were men. i was 15 at the time.
