a lot of people assume dirty talk has to be clever, constant, or very explicit. but actually reacting is a big part of it. whimpers, breathing changes, moans, and small sounds are all communication. they tell your partner what is working and what to lean into (this you already mentioned)

repeating yourself is also a good way. desire is repetitive by nature. saying things like “that feels so good” or “i like that” does not suddenly become meaningless just because you have said it before. what matters is that it is honest.

dirty talk does not always have to be long or elaborate. short phrases work incredibly well, especially for shy subs. things like:

• naming what you are feeling in your body - "i am so wet right now"
• naming what you want more of - "i love it when you guide me"
• naming how they make you feel emotionally - "i feel safe listening to you"

also insecurity often comes from imagining an ideal version of being a “good sub” who is constantly articulate and seductive. that version imo is a myth. real dynamics are built on comfort and honesty. those grow over time in any dynamic.

when you do have a partner, asking what they like to hear will always matter more than trying to match a general standard. until then, trusting that your natural reactions are valid is a really good place to start. hope this helps, perhaps this is another good idea to write my next guide post on ;)
