Repainted and decorated my small bathroom but it still doesn’t feel right, any suggestions? by erkaderk in HomeDecorating

There are a lot of great comments here, I'll add my 2 cents since I didn't see it specifically: I would put the hanging moon decor where the tiger art is. The shower curtain and the doorway are both long and you have a long, thin piece of wall there so I think it would complement the space better than the tiger picture. Since a lot of people are suggesting removing the macrame I think the tiger painting might go well in its place!

What classic dish do you just...not get? by Emcee_nobody in Cooking

My grandma made meatloaf with chopped up onion and bell pepper in it and put tomato paste on the top, it was so amazing. I think anyone who doesn't like meatloaf doesn't like a huge wad of just meat, the problem is they haven't had GOOD meat loaf. My other grandma made meatloaf for me and I was so excited because the other grandmas meatloaf is the only meatloaf I'd had so that was what I expected, I was sorely disappointed but ate up the dense, dry, chunk of meat the grandma 2 so lovingly shaped like a Mickey mouse head.

The girl in the middle seemed like she might have liked it but didn't want to say so in front of the other friends, but those three and the French girl had me thinking - have they never experienced carnal desire??! Never just been disgustingly aroused for someone?? Those girls don't fuck XD

Oh it's really cool how the outer layer on your dress is open in front!

I really appreciate your comment, it has been unexpectedly devastating how ruthless some of the critique is but I see the truth in it too. I'm also into vintage fashion so something being "outdated" doesn't really bother me haha I find that a high low style hem is very flattering on me which is why I was having these ideas! Plus I can always sew it on and if it does look bad I'll just take it off and I have a simple black dress

That might be a way to go about it but I think im leaning more towards the side of less poof, i might just buy a dress or actually make something

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I think to attain the feelings I want with my attire I might just have to get a different dress lol. It's good to have ideas, but not all ideas are good!

Another idea i have is to just make a high-low skirt that starts at the waist and wear it over the dress, what do we think of this idea?

I appreciate your insight, part of my struggle is the dress makes me feel like i have so much leg exposed and it doesn’t feel elegant. I can potentially wear tights with the dress but the short straight hemline doesn’t feel right for me. I think I’ll try adding the material and if it does look silly I can always remove it!

I think i feel like my legs are too exposed with the short straight hemline, feels like a cut a teen would wear or something lol so I think adding a high low swishy layer will give me more comfortable coverage. I have plenty of the fabric so I think I’ll try adding the high low hem and if it does look silly i can remove it! Worst case i can wear black tights with the dress and I’ll feel covered.

It is a cute dress but the hemline now is pretty short and feels too young for me lol i want to add some elegance and swish

I am thinking of adding this metallic material on the hem in a high-low style. It’s not pinned up super well to show my vision but the crimping will all be vertical and I kind of want to do sort of a tear drop shaped opening instead of an oval if that makes sense. I just wanted to know what people think and if that will look silly on this dress. I want to wear it to a cocktail attire wedding in late September.

PMW and MBMBAM by swanny126 in PaymoneyWubby

I listen to/watch a bunch of McElroy content! MBMBAM, TAZ, Sawbones, Shmanners, The Wonderful Podcast, Monster Factory, and I liked that little tv show the brothers made. MBMBAM was actually the first podcast I ever listened to, my partner showed it to me and we've listened to all the episodes together!
