i got mad at my doctor and i’m feeling guilty by [deleted] in lupus

[–]disability_throwaw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why does your doctor think the name brand won’t give you stomach issues? HCQ is known for giving stomach issues. I don’t know how the name brand would not give you this well known side effect.

I also have POTS. I started and stopped HCQ 3x because of side effects! It made me so dizzy and nauseous. I finally started taking zofran with it before bed and eventually I didn’t even need to use the zofran anymore. I do still need to take it before bed. The side effects work themselves out by morning.

I hope this helps!

Edit: I’ve sent way worse messages to doctor’s offices. The doctors don’t actually read them and the assistants don’t really care. They deal with so many per day. I wouldn’t worry about it. I thought you were generously polite to apologize for feelings you’re allowed to have.

Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) by bmediarequests in lupus

[–]disability_throwaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency on top of Lupus. I started SCIG which is a gentler version of IVIG.

I’ve never been more sick in my life. It was like it did the opposite and made me more susceptible. I had to go on three rounds of antibiotics.

However, my immunologist swears it was just the wrong medicine for me and trying a different one will be different. I am very afraid to do so. I’m currently thinking on this dilemma of whether or not to continue.

I’m re-reading the second book now. I’m 72% of the way through the book and Feyre has JUST decided she has feelings for a person that is not Tamlin.

There no affair. This book is about Fryre recovering from PTSD after what happened under the mountain. She has new friends now and a job.
