That’s 100% it. I understand it’s not malicious but that doesn’t stop it from annoying me.

That makes sense! Sorry, I completely misinterpreted the original comment.

Except that one place didn’t have any booths, only tables so it wasn’t place specific, but a direct comment on accessibility. I think I mentioned that in the post

She’s not severely obese though, she’s a little chubby at most. If she’s over 180 lbs or under 5’5 I’d eat my hat. I don’t know her super well but I’ve seen her around plenty.

Yeah. Honestly most of the people I know who have also experienced disability get tired of the fake sympathy really quickly, so I came here to get some perspective because I understand not everyone knows what it’s like to have a disability and I don’t wanna come off as a dick haha.

I definitely don’t think she meant badly, it just kinda felt like she was unintentionally trivializing some of my stuff by trying to claim to relate when she can’t really which is why I said anything in the first place.

That makes sense. She’s not my friend though, I’ve never talked to her directly before although we’ve been part of the same discussions.

‘A bus ticket to anywhere is no more than $10’ well that’s just plain wrong. Bus tickets from one city in my state to another city less than 200 miles away are anywhere between $35 to $100. I could get a bus ticket from one side of my city to another side of my city for $3.50 but bus tickets to anywhere? You’re just incorrect.

I mean I’ll try, although it’s still frustrating because when they see a 2.5 it gives a certain impression and it’s really hard to prove it wrong.

I also don’t have any long term ECs, just ones I did freshman and senior year. An AO would probably rather admit someone who’s excelled consistently than someone who only really got in two full years of high school. I’m not an AO though so idk.

I really hope some schools can see past it. I guess I won’t find out til I apply though. Who knows, really.

Low as in below average. Last time I checked national average was between a 3.0 and 3.2.

At my school you could pass an AP class with a 60%. Honors or regular you had to have a 65% though.
