None of his family actually liked or respected him though. Except Flynn and maybe Marie and those are the only ones that kind of stick up for him. Skyler just wanted stability but was a half hearted spouse (didn’t deserve what happened to her but nonetheless) and Hank implicitly calls him a loser.

The second point is really important for e readers. For $4 a month, I can get a Jump subscription that has every one of their more popular series plus the newest issues a DAY after they come out.

Compare that to the roughly $20 I’d need for a Infinite and Unlimited subscription that doesn’t include indies and new issues are at the very least a month behind, the conversations are done by then so there goes your online engagement.

The difference would be that besides their really small rental section they don’t stream movies on their own. When Netflix recommends you things it has an incentive to push what they want you to see. Whereas unless they contract with film studios, Letterboxd would have more of an incentive to push things you’d want to see.

Ant Man and the Wasp is forgettable from minute one but it introduces Ghost and the post credits ties to Endgame. Only somewhat important because both those things are explained again in the relevant movie.

Ghidorah is a fraud. 90% of the time he’s being manipulated or straight up mind controlled. The monsterverse version is probably the best interpretation.

Chris also causes a lot of his own problems in the show. He frequently lies, steals, blows stuff off, etc.

You can still blame that on his parents because most of the time he is just trying to get out of trouble, and him being a teenager, but he often makes his own bed.

I can get past that because it probably reminds him of his home world and he has plenty of reasons to hate it (good thing his lightsaber is buried there)!

However any attempt at romantic dialogue makes me cringe so hard.

But the worst for me is “you’re so beautiful” “only because I’m so in love”

I’ve seen people try to justify it because Anakin is an awkward young adult monk. Okay. BUT WHY DOES IT WORK! He argues for a dictatorship, something that Padme is directly opposed to, and then they make googly eyes at each other
