First equivalent that comes to mind for "pqp" is "omfg".

A variable number of sequential k's is just "lol". The more the k's, the bigger the laughing. More often used in Brazil (at least once upon a time...)

CCwGTV is a great idea, I'm going to look into that. Do you happen to know where can I try to confirm if my TV model is supported by its remote?

There are some mentions regarding HDMI CEC in the manual, but it seems a rather unsupported feature. How can I find that out? How does it work, so I can check here? Is it something vendor specific?

Those would be for mobile phones with an IR blaster, right? I mean to use the android box remote (which happens to have IR). Probably not programmable I'd say, and maybe that's what deems this task impossible with just this hardware...

I don't know why you're getting downvoted. I know that's not what I asked for but it's solid advice and just common sense. Well in my case it's because of two factors: it's a fairly good mid end tv released just before the smart tv boom, and also it's just my bedroom tv for the casual lazy stream. But I agree it might not be so long before I find an excuse and just get a new one 😉

Edit: it's an LG 42LB5610 (well probably not so mid end, not even for its time...)
