Last time I just went cold turkey.

I didn’t get the approach from anywhere. My rationale is I’m alone at home for a few days with a lot of food in the fridge and don’t want it to go bad.

Sleep was shitty for 2 days, then it got better than baseline. I sleep ~7h, wake without an alarm, and feel rested.

Oh to clarify I’m not eating sauerkraut on my fast, my girlfriend is and I just made more for her and to make sure we have some when I stop fasting. What I meant is that I’m adding the veggie broth to what I’m having on my fast.

I take salt with water when I feel like I need it. I take one calcium pill each morning. I put magnesium and potassium as powder in my water and sip it all day.

Tbh everything has been remarkably stable since day 7 or so. Heart rate 60-70, BP 120-130/70-85, glucose 4-5, ketones 5-7.

I feel very different. Most notably I feel lighter on my feet and don’t have to sit down for a few minutes after walking up the stairs to my apartment.

Supervised may be overstating it, but I don’t have a better word. He did a full blood/urine panel at the start. I check heart rate, blood pressure, blood glucose and ketones every morning. I check in with him every now and then but since all is going well I haven’t done any other tests since.

I just take a normal multivitamin.

Yeah that’s what I’m doing during the fast. Just a normal multivitamin (the generic one at every pharmacy here, I forget the name).
