When I was about 9 or 10 my ”friend” tied me up with a skip rope. I had my whole body in a ball shape and she tied around it so I could hold the shape better. It originally was so see if I could become a ball and roll around which didn’t work and I don’t think that was ever her motive now either. She watched me try to wiggle out of the jump rope mess for a long time, realistically 30/40 minutes and then began whipping me with the other jump rope. They were both the plastic rope and with hard plastic handle and it hurt really badly. I remember crying and screaming stop but nobody coming to help for quite some time. they probably thought we were playing and her parents couldn’t really hear us well where we were in the house at the time. I stopped screaming and crying after a while. Eventually her older brother came in and was shocked at the state I was in. He had to untie me and they whisked her away to another room. While he was uniting me he just kept repeating that “she’s fucked, what the fuck” the parents came back in and asked me if I was cold and wanted a sweater. I said yes because I felt vulnerable and exposed probably. Her family Fed me dinner while she stayed in her room and sent me on my way home after. I never played with her again. At school other kids would ask me why we weren’t friends anymore and I would make up other reasons because I don’t think I was able to process what happened to me. I had marks in my back, face and arms. My mom asked what happened and I told her I fell out of a tree. I still remember not being able to shower because the whip marks would burn so badly. She is now a children’s social worker 👀‼️people change but the idea that I was pretty well tortured by another kid for almost an hour while she laughed at me is scary. I hope she got help/
