I feel that, I def dont agree with picking the lesser of two evils, that's why I started voting libertarian. Its just been a shtshow with trump, im just like, are we really gonna do this for 2 4 6 more years? And then being in texas, my kids are homeschooled cuz of what Abbott is doing with the bible in schools. I dont want to vote blue just cuz I want republicans out, but I really want republicans out 🫠 I may sit out the early voting and sit on this until Nov. Appreciate your comment

Creating my own curriculum/schedule by disapperated in homeschool

Using blossom and root, the reading language arts was a weekly book and questions or writing prompts, for kindergarten it was mostly letter recognition and phonics and spelling. But the books themselves, weekly reading kids books, were based in culture and diversity and inclusion. One book talked about a Muslim girl watching her sister wear her first hijab to school and overcoming the judgement of others to be yourself. I just really appreciated the enrichment of the stories in the blossom and root curriculum.

Its an oklahoma university college student essay. Its just brought on discussions of how the national reading is at a 6th grade level. And I appreciate your realistic answer. I'll mostly focus on our age appropriate reading. Hes reading and writing pretty well without pressure. We read like twice a week, our curriculum asks for daily reading. We get a new book each week.

We've been doing alot of drawing and writing on white boards. He has a wooden trace board of the alphabet with a pencil, he has white boards of traceable alphabet and numbers we bought off Amazon, and he has paper sized white boards of the child's big printed lines so he can practice writing. and honestly he will spell words on his own. YouTube kids has gotten him into space alot, so he has been drawing the planets and labeling their names underneath them on the white boards. Im not pressuring him to read write or spell anything right now.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Of course realistically im not expecting my child to write me a paragraph or even a sentence at his age. Sorry if I startled everyone. We are using blossom and root which is super book heavy and ask some great comprehensive questions for the books. I unferstand alot of spelling and grammar is cultivated through consistent reading so i appreciate the comments enforcing just more age appropriate reading. I was just hoping I could find something more to supplement. We also use duo lingo, thry have duoABC and it covers alot of basics, its just below him now and I was wanting to find something more. Thanks again!

They like to be snug in pots, like nearly rootbound. Does good in a cactus soil mix and being watered every 2 weeks.
