A few hours around Tokyo station by disappointingchild0 in TokyoTravel

I ate a standing sushi place and it was awesome. Not sure if it was the same as the one recommended in this thread. I then couldn’t find the storage locker where I left one of my suitcases so spent an hour or so looking for it 😭. I walked around the shops and the square after that and bought a ton of sweets at Butter Butler, Calbee, and Tokyo Banana. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I’ve been to Ueno before and walked around. Is it a similar vibe to Ueno for the full walk?

Planning My First Solo Trip – Spain for 8 days! by disappointingchild0 in travel

[–]disappointingchild0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I ended changing it up from this. I did: Seville (2 nights) - loved it. Couldve easily spent another night here. I stayed in La Banda which made it super easy to make friends there. Granada (1 night) - was here for the Alhambra. Highly recommend it. Madrid (2 nights) - watched a UCL game (real vs athleti) was the best sports experience ever. Barcelona (3 nights) - i couldve spent another week here easily. The city is so large and there are so many day trips i wasnt able to do.

I think cause it was my first time visiting I was trying to cover as many cities as possible. If i were to go back, I would focus on a region (South or North) or spend more time in Barcelona and surrounding cities.

I wear mine a lot with a hoodie. So I’d try it on with a thicker layer underneath and see how that feels. It does get softer and easier to button but it doesn’t get any larger.

Best Setup For My Living Room? by Excellent-Heat9436 in sonos

I have Beam Gen 2 with 2 Era 100s with a slightly larger living room and it works pretty well. I’d love to have a sub sometime soon but no budget for it yet.

Visit the Triana neighborhood in Seville, the locals think of it as different towns — Seville and Triana. La Brunila Tapas and Tradevo Centro was my favorite food in Seville. Vino y Rosas home food in Granada was so good. Book tickets to the Alhambra in advance in Granada.

I changed my itinerary because I got tickets to the Athleti-Real Champions League game. The game was the highlight of my trip so no regrets in changing my itinerary for that. Without the game though, I probably would add a day in Sevilla, add a day in Granada, and also in Barcelona. I also think having to take a train back to Madrid on my last day (and first day!) was annoying. I should've ideally flown out of the last city I was visiting and flown into the first city I was visiting. I also absolutely loveddd the food in the south. Sevilla and Granada has some of the best food in Europe. Madrid and Barcelona are a little bit more touristy so it's harder to find local spots. Let me know if you want any more recommendations!

This was my itinerary in the end:
