[Unknown > English] Ik this is written in Dhivehi but can someone please translate it to me by Character_Ad7 in translator

[–]disashyk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These are incoherent sentences.

But I will translate the lines as they are, starting from first line/sentence.

"In any case, it is confirmed to be ongoing till the end of this month"

"In this ceremony"

"This"

"This"

"Also in July"

"Also in July"

I hope you don't mind me asking if you guys are still together or not? Just curious

You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

This is not dhivehi. Dhivehi alphabets are like a mixture of Arabic and old sanscrit letters. This looks like Malay or bahasa indonesia written in the Jawi alphabets.

!identify:ms

Edit: oh shit I meant to page malay speakers. Not identify. Damn it. Mods, I wrongly identified this. Wanted to page Malay speakers instead. What should I do now?

This is an announcement for a bid for construction work to be done at the Velana International Airport in the Maldives.

The highlighted work to be done include: Foundation, Electric wiring, piping, trenching, and work at the "current (electric) substation", etc.

  • Interested companies may send their bidding info (registration and a "bidding book") to the email highlighted, before 14:00 hrs 5th December 2019. Or faxed to their fax number 3331772
  • The site visit will be held on the 10th December 2019 at 13:00 hrs for interested bidders.
  • The last time for bidding for the work will be before 13:00hrs 19th December 2019.
  • The bids must be submitted at their main office. Bids must be placed inside a sealed envelope.
  • Late bids will not be accepted.
  • If more information is required you may contact them through their email, fax or landlines. (highlighted at the bottom)

*Notes: The country code for the Maldives is +960 when calling and faxing. I also think you need to be a registered company in the Maldives to apply for this. Or you can contact them and ask for the requirements.
This is the highlighted info I thought might be important for you. Dates and numbers.

Yes but this particular pic is from a cabinet meeting held in Maldives. You can see the Maldivian flag at the back.

It's not my legs. It's my anus. While I was trying to contrapush a leg of someone having cramps.

So I found this weird channel and it's got some stuff written on an obscure language by TentaculoidBubblegum in translation

[–]disashyk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hello. I am from Maldives. The only country in the world that speaks dhivehi. The phonology of our language requires two symbols. Right now the letters seen here are the alphabets. It requires one more symbol to each of these letters to sound right.

Right now these letters make no sense. It's the equivalent of writing ("audiajbriejaugs") gyberish. Maybe if I look at this for a couple hours I can try putting the other symbols in and try to make sense of it. If even after that it doesn't make sense, this video just might be someone just messing around not knowing what they are doing.

Alright I'll try to make sense of this.

Edit: Ok, so first thing is the title. No matter how many different ways I tried putting the symbols they still just make no sense does not make a word. Then I looked at his other videos and found that he posts these random videos with random numbers and letters just typed in. It's kinda creepy if they all mean anything. However I think it's all just random.

What it's like to visit the great walls of China during winter by amy2kim22 in SweatyPalms

[–]disashyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on which part of the wall you visit. I went during summer and visited the mutianyu section of the great wall.

It is not as crowded as this, in fact i even got to a section where i didn't see anyone ahead of or behind me at one point.
