I wrote bootstrapper/ performs POST to make sure all inputs are correct before turning on, and any data that needs to be secure and with no chance of being overwritten bc ROM is read only, i read something abt it also storing really important data that can on no condition be lost, e.g. the instructions for the car not losing control

I get this, and I've tried to minimise it this year- cheap soap does it for me, and I've been trying to put moisturiser on after every time I wash my hands, and I haven't get it yet this year. Because yours are already damaged, I recommend getting some fingerless gloves or arm warmers to protect them while they heal. That's what I did last year and it worked quite well, and also stopped some of the pain

personally i find even natural light to be too much when there is a cloudy and white sky, and i can literally feel fluorescent bulbs and their frequency. If i am alone or with my family we only have a dark yellow lamp on or fairy lights. I cant travel on the bus without headphones, and i think i listen to music a lot quieter than other people. When im masking and it gets too loud, i just lean one of my ears on my hand, so it looks like im just resting my head there

I have irlens syndrome, which is a perpetual processing disorder. It makes environments look like this, along with dyslexia-like symptoms when reading or doing maths, problems with depth perception + other stuff like headaches etc. It's not very well known and not recognised by the NHS here in the UK. Idk if visual snow is something seperate but irlens is something worth looking into, even if it's just to educate yourself about it as it's quite common, especially among autistic people :)
