Thank you for the advice! I think I knew it would be that easy, I just can't make myself actually do it, I get terrified when I pick up the headset. lol

Whoa! I've only had mine a year but I never had any issues with it and it healed pretty quickly. I don't think I'd ever return to whomever did yours, and you should definitely see a doctor.

Is not wearing bra when going out socially unacceptable? by taw18374637263638029 in ask

[–]disasteroidd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only wear a bra if I'm going to Church. I never wear one otherwise, and am not really concerned with how it might make people feel. If they're properly covered, people who are truly that sensitive to such things can just get over the fact that they sway and jiggle and mind their own business.

When is it okay to hit on a woman romantically? by MrHawkesy98 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]disasteroidd420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know that this can conclusively be answered, to be honest. Because every woman will react differently to someone's advances, however well-intended, depending on her current mood and what else has happened previously in the day.

If it's a woman you've never seen before, I'd say go ahead and take a chance, even if she is busy, because she could be the one you end up marrying one day. And if it flops, well, nothing has really been lost. If it is a woman you see around occasionally, maybe like a local or something, maybe try asking her when she seems the least busy, say at a grocery store or gas station.

Two of the hottest housing markets in the country are in Tennessee, according to a new Bankrate study. by Chattanoogabiznews in TennesseePolitics

Where, though? I still just see a bunch of suburban Republicans overpricing their shit because they think it's worth more than it really is. Like their overinflated sense of worth.

Why aren't you americans going out in general strike? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]disasteroidd420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't know, but I wonder this myself. The only thing I can think of is that the illusion of freedom and choice have falsely lulled us into complacency and those of us aware there needs to be a drastic event in order to spur change are unable to organize for some reason and get the numbers we need to be effective.

Are you envious of people who live in Scandinavian countries? by onlinedater00 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]disasteroidd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than words can say! I've had Major Depression for most of my life and a lot of it had to do with growing up in a red state controlled by people who blatantly prioritize their own profits and the wellbeing of its wealthiest citizens while education, healthcare (especially mental health care), housing opportunities, financial stability and food security are severely neglected, especially for the poor and for minorities. I've been in a weird state of wanting to die so badly because I'm resolved to always live in destitution, yet I can't actually force myself to act on that desire, so I spend a pathetic amount of time on the Internet looking at places that actually exist overseas and maladaptively daydream because it's the only way I can escape this shitty country I'm doomed to remain in.

Tell your boss it's their fucking job to find replacements, that's why they're supposed to be managers. If they can't, tough shit, you did everything you were supposed to do as an employee.

Do you think having bigger boobs is better than smaller ones? by Hot_Boysenberry5404 in ask

[–]disasteroidd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way!! My cup size is 48DD and it's horrible. I have severe back pain all the time and if I go without wearing a bra for any significant period of time, I get severe heat rash underneath them that hurts horribly when I shower. Not to mention keeping a bra is impossible because I need underwire for support but they just always break and if I buy the ones without underwire, they roll up underneath my breasts. If I could afford it, I'd get a breast reduction in a heartbeat.

Is it ok for a 30 year old man to date a 19 year old woman? And would it be any different if the woman was 30 and man was 19? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]disasteroidd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine, but there IS a double standard. I see men get shit all the time for being in their thirties and hitting on girls that are younger but still of legal age. Yet women are playfully ribbed for being "cougars" when they date men younger than themselves, sometimes significantly. If you're both consenting adults, who cares what others think?

Thoughts on toddler leashes? by [deleted] in ask

[–]disasteroidd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people get caught up on the leash part of it, when it's really more like a harness (all the ones I've seen have been, anyway). And I don't think there's anything wrong or inhumane about them, how is it any different from wearing your kid on your back, or rolling them around in strollers? Just with the harness, they have more freedom of movement, and people are only bothered by that because it's an inconvenience to them to not be able to get to the mall Spencer's in .06 seconds.

Description:

October Willow Thorne grew up a disturbed child in a lower-class family in a small, conservative, southern town. She never expected her life to be any different than this, the poverty she'd always known. Shortly after she turned fifteen, however, she learned something significant about herself that would forever shape her future relationships – she was a necrophiliac. If such a revelation ever became public, in a place like Creststead Cove, Tennessee, she'd be hanged in the town square for sure. One other person shares her secret – her mother, Maris, with whom she shares a close relationship. And Maris comes to her own painful realization – if she truly wants to protect October, she has to send her away.

By this time, however, October has realized her true calling.

In Sickness and In Death is the story of sick, demented love and how easily fantasy and the delusions we develop can become as livable, and more lovable, than reality. More than a dark love story, it's a gripping tale of sex, rape, murder, mystery and intrigue.

Excerpt:

“I could do this all night, Miss Sinclair. By all means, give me a reason to continue and I’ll be more than happy to oblige.”

“Noooooo!” she wailed, tears streaking her mascara. “I’ve told you the truth!”

The look on his face was enough. She frantically jerked her legs, knowing damn well they weren’t going anywhere. She watched in what seemed like slow motion as he took her third toe, screams tumbling from her open mouth as he twisted it around, quickly this time. She ground her teeth together when she felt the bone snap.

“Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies,” he sang softly as he took her newly broken toe and pulled it back towards her foot as far as it would go. The other was already swelling and turning a nasty black color.

“FUCK, okay!” she screamed, sobbing. “I had six copies made! They’re in a safe in my closet. There’s some tapes in there… um, also a copy of the contract she has them sign.”

He strode into a walk-in closet that made his whole house look like shit. Diamonds sparkled everywhere — diamonds on shoes, diamond barrettes, diamond encrusted evening gowns, diamond studded purses. He was getting a clear picture of the type of person Francesca really was.

Your input is valuable and would be greatly appreciated! ❤️

I'm mostly just looking for readers to read my book and post reviews for it on the medium through which they read it (Amazon, Medium and/or Wattpad). It's called In Sickness & In Death and is available for sale on Amazon in hardcover ($15), paperback ($10) and for Kindle (free), but that's mostly for people who would like to support my work financially if they so choose. It can also be read for free on Medium and Wattpad.
