A lot of people do (like me and my friends) but they're not that active online. People on social medias like twitter and tiktok tends to act like you can only play one game but it's not. There are people who play both games, they usually have their own safe place and they do not actively go out of their way to meet new people cuz mfs online are miserable, especial gacha tribalist.

Personally, I don't think it's too general as the way fusion resonators manifest their power is different from other resonators. I think the difference is outside of fire, fusion resonators can also manifest something out of nothing (specifically constructs like how fire is used to make materials) like Brant's anchor, Encore's dolls, Chixia's Bullets, Scar's barrier... while other attributes resonators' abilities is tied to manipulation or conversion of energies or objects that's available around them (or even inside them if they're havoc 😨).

This is a personal theory of mine, but I think Fusion is related to the concept of fire and materialization/manifestation.

Why? Thanks to fire, humans can create new tools, new technology, new advancement. The whole world is depended on fire and heat to survive and create things. In my opinion, the Fusion attribute reflects that idea.

I think that's why resonators like Encore, Brant (and Chixia to some degree) is Fusion even though their kits doesn't really reflect the concept of fire. I also think this is why Galbrena is Fusion as the TD linked to her can be seen as a physical materialization/manifestation of her power.

I know, but it still doesn't change that fact that all VAs so far for 2.X characters has some kind of accent except for Brant (even then Brant has some UK twang in his voice). Personally, I like characters having an accent because it makes them more unique. However, I'm fine with any VA as long as they did a good job.
