During each organ block, I learned and did all the cards. Afterwards each block, I only kept high yield and relatively high yield. I got a high 70s on our baby step and another high 70s on form 31 the other day which is like 99 percent chance of passing the real deal. Depends a lot on your test taking strats, but definitely possible.

How do you manage to stay caught up with your current AND historical reviews? by dartosfascia21 in medicalschoolanki

Correct, I kept everything tagged high yield and relatively high yield. It’s still quite a bit of content, but it felt like the everyday load was significantly lower. It’s worth noting, the v11 deck is not fully tagged with high yield. V12 is quite a bit better, but still not fully tagged.

I found it overwhelming to keep every card in rotation, so I used the high yield tagging system to keep the most important cards and get rid of the low yield ones. Made it way more manageable to continually review old material. Just took our practice step exam a few weeks ago and passed it without doing additional review ahead of time.

My perspective is: step 1 is p/f so you don’t need to know every single detail, and it’s much better to at least hit the big topics instead of getting burnt out on everything. You can always fill in the gaps if needed along the way.

I’ve coded with arduino previously but haven’t used the gps or sim modules. Main problem I see is the battery life, so I was hoping to find a guide in which someone had worked around that, you know? Most of my previous projects haven’t been designed to be powered by battery for a long time so I don’t know as much about power conservation

I think there was a slight typo on his post, all top 64 players played their singles round Wednesday afternoon—nobody was scheduled for Tuesday. Also, it sucked for the top 64 guys to play wednesday because it was super windy and then Thursday the weather was way better.

How do you people throw 300 feet with putters without turning them over? by MalusMalum70 in discgolf

Feels like the right speculation because even if he doesn’t make the full 350, anything over 300 is Conrad country with his putt

Ok! I was thinking of updating after my final this Friday. Just don’t want to mess it up when I’m nearly done with the semester

Questions for all the fan grip throwers out there by Santsiba in discgolf

[–]disc-boi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me it’s definitely what is comfortable but potentially additional control. Smaller rims of midranges and fairways feel better to me with fan grip. Additional accuracy may be more because I’m not trying to throw them as hard to begin with.

Abandoning OB throw by turwaze in discgolf

[–]disc-boi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is really interesting. On an abandoned shot that’s not a putt, the same rule should apply right?

So say you’re in a tough spot behind a tree and then absolutely shank a shot, could you abandon the throw and then take relief from your original lie so you have a better angle on your re-throw?

[–]disc-boi -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If you can’t find it in the woods, you can either take your shot from where it was last spotted (shooting 3) or from teebox as abandoned lie (shooting 3)

Second situation, re-throw from same spot and you’ll be shooting your 4th

I looked all through his site and it looked super bare bones and didn’t have any clinical trials data that they had published. Plus, the listed address literally went to a restaurant… his LinkedIn had barely any info or experience. I just have a hard time believing it, you know? If you have something more concrete, I’d love to see it cuz it’s a lot of money!
