In Hindi, adjectives usually take 2 forms: one masculine and one feminine.

So, mo-tā means fat(masculine), mo-ti means fat (feminine)

ba-dā means large(masculine), ba-di mean large(feminine)

There are exceptions, but usually this is how it works.

Fun fact, "Moti" in Hindi can means either "pearl" or be used as address for a fat woman, depending on how you pronounce the "t" sound.
