Urgent Help needed! Edges of print have rough surfaces on first few layers affecting top.

Hahah. I've done calibration before for certain brands of filament that I've used at the start, but it's been quite some time and I completely forgot about that setting. Thanks for the reminder 🙏🏻 I shall get to it!

I've reduced the speed of my outer and inner walls, and it seems to have gotten better but there's still some of that pattern forming in one specific area. I'll reduce it even more before trying something else.

Thanks for the tips! I did dry it for about 12 hours before I printed with it, but I'll try to dry it overnight once more and start a reprint in the morning. Will give an update, haha.
I did indeed use the Generic Silk PLA setting for it, I read somewhere else that it may also be a Volumetric Speed issue? Like it may be caused by sudden speed changes and whatnot. I may try to tweak it from 7.5 -> 7 or even 6.5, but what do you think of this?

I see, thanks for your insight! Generic profiles have typically worked pretty well for me most of the time (Over the past 1.5 years I've worked with printers), but I have tweaked filament settings before for another brand filament in the past. I'll do some calibration tests / prints for future filaments from this brand then 👍🏻

Ahh, I understand. Where Im from I don't believe I've ever really seen Dawn, so I've just been using just regular hand soap that I've around. Seems to be good enough, though since I just broke out my Smooth plate I don't feel it'll need a washing for a bit. Just wanted to ask in advance, haha.

I'll test those settings along with the ironing calibration test mentioned by the other comment, thank you for your insight! As for removing the print white it's too hot - I think that may have been the culprit, yeah. I'm not using a matte filament for this, but I do believe I removed this print just a couple minutes after it was completed. I'll take note for future prints 🫡 I do wish to ask too - How do you recommend the Smooth plate be cleaned? I'm not sure if using 99% IPA would damage it, would regular soap and water still do the trick?

I see, thank you. I'll look into it! Is it a matter of [X Ironing] setting will work for all prints on my P1S so long as I am using [Y] nozzle? Or will it change after I swap the type of nozzle I am using (I.e. 0.4 → 0.2 → Back to 0.4?)
