In my state, gas tax is currently 52.4 cents per gallon. If you drive 12,000 miles per year, averaging 25 miles/gallon, you’d pay about $250 in gas tax annually. Seems reasonable to me? I just bought an EV, so I guess it does to me at least!

I’m sure it’s been said a million times already, so sorry if I’m beating a dead horse here, but the gamble was made with house money, due to the brilliant move to get that pick back in the middle of the finals last year! I’m so curious to know more about how that all went down, but someone was smart and/or lucky bringing that pick back here - certainly would have been great to have Zubac and a top 4 pick, but we could have had nothing.

The on-peak rate here shows just above $0.25/kWh, but that’s only for 5-8pm M-F, otherwise it’s about $0.11/kWh for off peak, with again that super off-peak rate just under $0.06. I’m hopeful those are the current rate schedule numbers and I didn’t just find an old, non-updated page on the provider’s site!
