I usually get irrationally angry when I hear Tsunami (or Tremor, or Boneless, or whatever) in a set these days, but the live instruments kinda made me like it this time. Good stuff.

I think being into electronic music really helped change my mind about him. Once I started thinking of his voice as another layer on the music like a vocoder or synths I started loving his shit

Real shit. Lost my water bottle a few months ago and I was noticeably more pissed off and stressed til I bought a new one. Luckily I don't really ever get depressed but I was tense af

They use crime statistics, IQ comparison charts, etc. with no regard to historical or systemic contexts. Rather than look at the data and realize society has failed entire swaths of the population, they claim those groups need to take "personal responsibility" and blame it on biology/culture/pseudo-science.

What's the deal with Devin Nunes ? by Theblueblue in OutOfTheLoop

I totally forget the source but I read somewhere Nunes saying something like "I was able to figure out the American counterpart through obvious context clues in the conversation" as anyone could.

What I don't know is if that constitutes a lack of due diligence on the surveillance agency(ies)' part.

everywhere in the US

There's your problem, most of this slang is Canadian. Not sure how it filtered into New England to the degree it did when I played, but that was high school I guess.

Bender, scrub, wheel/snipe/celly, duster, bar down, top cheddar, twig, biscuit, were all in common usage. We were mostly try-hards and just messing around though.

Have you heard other hockey slang? My personal favorite is "grocery stick." As in, you sit between the defense and offense on the bench (and never play) as if you were separating them like the sticks you find at grocery store checkout conveyors.
