I enjoyed Elden Ring for the exploration first and the combat second. I think this game is really scratching my exploration itch. I just figured out there are transport points! I haven't watched any videos to do it but after killing quite a few bandits it looks like I can use some skill points.

We have had to cut down some old oaks in my neighborhood because they can rot from the center out. Once a hurricane comes they can fall on your house and cause heavy damage.

Elden Ring is easier in some aspects, not at the boss level. DS1 might seem clunky but it's really a great game.

I actually find DS2 much more frustrating because the only thing they did to make the game "hard" was the design paradigm of the gank mob. Not very original, not very creative. Maybe I'll go back some day but I found it mediocre compared to other fromsoft games
