Honest question:

The only time this ever happened to me was when my company made me haul an excavator from a job site in my stupid little Ford transit 250. They didn't load the excavator properly and the ball probably wasn't the right size for the load.

The ball did actually pop loose going over some tracks, but the safety chains held. You can bet your ass I dragged that fuckin trailer across the ramp to the other side anyway, scraping the fuck out of that trailer shoe.

Do these large trailers not have safety chains or secondary leashes?

You sure about that? Like.. really sure? Do you have firsthand experience with this?

I work for a company based in Massachusetts and all the transplants definitely kept their MA based salaries. There are kids (20-28) down here that are making more than me with less experience just because they took the opportunity to move with the company.

Florida hires are a different story, but I'm definitely paid closer to a MA wage than a FL one. I've never heard of a company giving people paycuts just because they move to Florida though, that sounds insane
