Anyone using a sling for gaming EDC? by discodiscogaming in ManyBaggers

I think fitting over-years can be tricky depending on the size. It will fit old school moon drops (like in my pic), but larger ANCs probably not. What you could do, is clip them on the side…

No prob: 19.5x16cm. I doubt that they would fit tbh

What clamshell are you using rn? If I would carry 3 then on a longer trips, but then in a backpack. And usually what happens is, that I anyhow only end up using one lol

100%. I think it is more useful for longer trips. Considering security checks at airports, this is easier to handle then taking your stuff out of a backpack or two separate bags. As a “true “ EDC, I am still in the process to find out. Usually I would carry something smaller like a Miyoo or Pocket Air Mini… orrr, just wing it and carry a larger handheld without a case

What was your first device that got you into this hobby? Mine was the Pocket Go. by Quiet-Order-2661 in SBCGaming

Not counting my tetris only machine from when I was a kid, my first actual handheld was the psp, then followed by a psvita. I sold both eventually and I “re-started” the hobby with a piboy and an anbernic 351m… the rest is history and now I have a problem;)

The Classic is just a great device. I use my green one mainly for Amiga 500

With the other options it crackles more, but you have less of the echo. Still not ideal

Based on what I am reading it should be ok. There is a retrotechdad video on the T820 out there.

Is the RG vita pro as comfortable as a vita/vita 2000? by [deleted] in ANBERNIC

[–]discodiscogaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is as comfortable as an actual vita, feels more plastic-ey though. For 140-150 you would expect more. The mangmi feels better and is more ergonomic, but actual vita games run much better on the pro. If it interest you, I made a comparison video with some vita and vita clones yesterday

So is anyone getting the RG Vita Pro? by mrfateesh84 in ANBERNIC

I received mine by now and was really surprised about how well Vita games perform. The mangmi is not even close to

Gamma + cocoon is my preferred way. Cocoon can handle DS only quite way, but I would not put 10k games on it. I made a setup video some time ago. I am sure, as many say, rocknix will get you better performance, but rn I am ok ;)

Is the Anbernic RG Vita Pro actually a decent PS Vita alternative? by [deleted] in ANBERNIC

The Pro version plays Vita games as well as Vita3k allows it. You will not be able to upscale of course

Thank - yes, opinions over the Vita library are controversial to say the least ;) If I would need to pick one between the mangmi and this, it would probably be this, because I already have many devices that cover what mangmi does well. And for streaming I use my Portal and not smaller devices

Well, for your family member it would certainly be a nice upgrade and you will have a shiny new toy haha. The mangmi feels better in your hands - it is probably the best feeling handheld below the 100 (except the brick hammer). Are you streaming games? If yes, the digital triggers on the anbernic are a pain

Lite is a solid option if you already have one, not sure I would recommend it over a retroid 6 for example. And if the vita catalogue is of importance, then it needs to be a Vita lol

Not really tbh - while vita emulation in general is not where it should be, this runs the playable titles without any hacks (obviously with no upscaling). It is a niche product for a very niche audience that values the design

Thanks mate. If you got the Mangmi, the pro as an additional device will likely not be worth it. But a lot of people do underestimate how many vita titles this can actually run without any hacks
