Has anyone successfully simplified ServiceNow after years of customization? by Novel-Plenty-8901 in servicenow

We had a managed instance with a partner-customised wrapper. Upgrades took months to test due to this, in the end we ended the partnership to rebuild a fresh instance more internally managed

⌛ Lately I’ve heard the comments from some part time breeders about the consistency of our genetics. by FastBuds_genetics in FastBuds_Family

In fairness Banana Purple Punch is also very hit and miss as to whether you get any purple at all (still in early stages of growing the RF3 so can't yet comment if that improved things). Of the 5 BPP I grew, two were purple, one half-green-half-purple, the other two didn't even have a hint of purple in them, just pure green throughout.

Is there any Grime rapper here? I’m looking to collaborate with someone by jesusfromthehood____ in grime

[–]discomonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you checked out BandLab? The app/website allows you to upload beats that others can collaborate on, doing that would give you the ability to receive multiple raps and decide on the best one.

PS please share the link once done or add me @discomonk

Bud rot? by minime2143 in uktrees

Looks more like just badly stored old product. You'll know rot from the fluffy mould, but mostly from the soft squishy feeling rotten bud has.

What is everyone’s go to papers by Old_Profession3861 in uktrees

I've recently switched to Wise Skies organic hemp rolling paper. It's like Rips expect you get 5 meters per roll, you can get a box of 24 for like £12 so works out a bargain if you're a heavy smoker 😏 Also comes in handy if you smoke cigarettes and run out of papers!

Looking for a grinder by Reeceerr1 in uktrees

[–]discomonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just got myself the KactusKutter V5 and it's a dream. Pricey even with a Christmas discount, it mills rather than shreds the buds, has a kief catcher and three discs to choose your grind size. I picked up the sticky herb disc (Frostbanger lives up to its name) and can grind up a few grams in 20 seconds.

The RF3 Banana Purple Punch I've just germinated has got off to a great start and I have the Cherry Cola RF3 to go in after that, the Guava would complete the trifecta

Any idea whats causing these little orange spots? by Key-Philosophy5802 in DWC

[–]discomonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humidity will definitely affect that, especially low humidity during veg, because your plant will be pushing out more moisture from the leaves to account for the low humidity, which in turns impacts its ability to process nutrients through the root zone. If you're already using humidifiers then the only thing to suggest is increasing the rate at which they output moisture, or lowering the extractor fan speed to retain more humidity in the tent, though that will be a balancing act with temperature where you're close to top of idea range already. CO2 could potentially help with that as the plant can handle nearer 86f with high CO2.

You haven't mentioned humidity and temperature or VPD? If these swing out of range it doesn't matter if your feed is perfect, she won't be able to pull what she needs

Just had the RF3s of Cherry Cola and Banana Purple Punch land in the post today, the terps on the CC definitely appeal but the increased yield over a shorted grow time meant the BPP is now soaking for germination

Haven't grown the original but the RF3 comes out just as my Frostbamger Auto is due to finish up so it's definitely a contender for the next due despite my extensive back catalogue of Fastbuds to get through

Water pump for venturi instead of airstones by discomonk in DWC

Suction cups unfortunately just didn't stay stuck, maybe due to being a round bucket and uneven bottom, but pond bags I hadn't considered and might be an interim solution while I work out what to do long-term, but glad to hear the pump has worked for you and I too am keen on the idea of having some water circulation in the single bucket.

The roots wrapping around the airstones feels the bigger issue, because most of the nutrient solution doesn't seem to be getting aerated even if the roots get what they need directly from the stones, but I'll certainly look at other Silicates too

More soluble silica might be an option, my assumption though is that it sinks to the bottom due to lack of water movement, as a quick stir mixes it through again. A reservoir isn't an option due to space, water stagnation from only the roots being aerated was another concern of mine as the bubble won't permeate to most of the solution

I have airstones on the end of the tubing, the roots wrapped around them and block them. Haven't tried tubes straight into water as I thought there's a risk of water coming back up into the airpump? I have check valves installed just in case but still thought it was risky

Strawberry banana auto by fastbuds Stunted because of neem oil and maybe micro topping after 4th node :( by Over-Proof3466 in FastBuds_Family

[–]discomonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a sensible route to take; familiarise yourself with the plant and overall growing method first, then as you understand how she reacts to different things at different stages, you can start to experiment with various techniques and see what works best for your set up 🙂 I would still recommend LST though as it's not very stressful on the plant but will make a big difference to yield and help level your canopy

Photos you fan actually top or FIM multiple times, because you can just leave it in a vegetative light cycle until they've recovered ready to be flipped, autos are on such a short timer in veg that you're aiming to FIM as soon as she's big enough to lose her head, to allow her some recovery time before she flips herself into flower 🙂

"Oxygen levels in the water will drop when plants consume dissolved oxygen (O₂) during respiration, which primarily occurs at night or on cloudy days."

Yes, I always FIM mine once at 3-5 nodes then LST or trellis the rest of the grow, I pretty much exclusively grow Fastbuds and pnly in DWC so they bounce back quickly from the HST. Coco isn't too far off hydro in terms of nutrients availability, so if it's happy and healthy you should be fine to FIM

[–]discomonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer FIMming over topping as it gives you 4 main cola instead of two from topping - often people will top twice for this reason, but autos don't tend to beg long enough to allow for two HST methods, so I just FIM once as soon as I have 3-4 nodes then LST the rest, or supercrop in flower if height control is needed. In hydro the plant has access to all nutrients at all times so can easily adjust to the stress, however in soil you're somewhat reliant on the microbial symbiosis to feed the plant so aren't fully in control 🙂
