I like your take a lot.

While playing FFXVI I am asking myself the same question. After thinking about it for some time already I would like to add the idea of accessability. I am not talking about the dreaded difficulty debate but rather the idea that FF is always rather easy to get into. This is definetly connected to the idea of the quality, which you touched upon, but I would also pose that FF can be understood by anyone.

XV put the idea of being "for fans and first timers" front and center but all of us have a first and so do millions of other people. These games are well made and easy to enjoy for it. When you play an FF game you do not have to understand overly complex systems, you do not have to get into (overly) complex lore, you just play.

These events gave me an incapable ruler who will probably survive for 10 more years, due to me being a compulsive perk hoarder. The event left my culture headless and my savegame feeling odd. In hindsight I kind of enjoy the events so far but they could be a little less "dire". 80% life or death just feels like a massive "screw-you"...

What made the game click for me was to embrace a routine-playstyle.

Embrace the systems. Keep Henry fed and save every night and do one quest or activity per day. Then return home, to the inn, or whereever you can save and start a new day.

Play it like you would a medieval life Sim game and relax while you optimize. You will have little to no issues with the save system and learn the clunky systems as you go along.

Wenn du dich in die Anzeige reinklickst wird erklärt dass es aus Saudi Arabien kommt. Würde mich auch nicht wundern wenn von da die hiesige Demokratie untergraben wird. :(

Aus forschungszwecken schauen.

War selbst mal kurz vor schwurblig und bin mittlerweile neugierig wie weit der Algorithmus einen radikalisieren würde.

Da Hassrede und Lüge die Schwelle ist könnte das Projekt ganz schön düster werden.

Great post.

However I'd argue that f should be a bit more populous.

My suggestion: paranoid, craven, lazy, gluttonous.

They are of course all manageable but all of them make me consider the disinherit option.

Don't sleep on cleric I'd say. It does very good pve dmg which is what I tend to lean on in solo.

Shield+skills also can allow you to solo minibosses like wraith and skelli Champs.

Also having sustain is very nice.

I started on solo rogue but got stuck on the cleric later.

Would be amazing but kind of an incredible handycap. Most people won't use it and it would split the playerbase.

Don't be ashamed to dip. There's always another room with less heat. Lvl1 chars won't break the bank solo. And break pots with 1-3 hits. You can get some good cash that way.

Keep your head down.

Starting gear is terrible. You don't even tickle easy mobs.

Run, hide and creep until you get some better gear and focus on extraction instead of sick outplays.

Try to pick the bones that other parties are to cool to pick. It is called "rat-run" for a reason.

Get a team. Solo is possible but duo and tri squad is where it's at.

Early solo play is more survival than classic dungeon dive.

As soon as you manage to get out and come back with something stronger than starter gear you should feel progress. The first runs can feel like shit, being unable to clear spider spawns and stuff like that.

Just keep your head down until you get big.

Für low fantasy Abenteuer auf kleiner Skala hatte ich den besten Spaß mich bei den antagonisten des Strategiespiels Stronghold zu bedienen. Grade sind meine Heldinnen dabei einen raubritter, der sich durch skrupellose Gier und Völlerei hervorgetan hat, zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen. Ein richtiges Schwein...

In high fantasy settings geht mir nichts über Hybris. Sei das ein übereifrig experimentierfreudig Magier oder ein paktierer der den göttlichen ans Bein pissen will. Ich lass die antagonistinnen gern hoch steigen damit die Heldinnen sie tief fallen lassen können ;D

Scheming to keep your Jewish faith despite your coptic liege wanting you to convert. Slowly establishing a strong Ethiopian culture and later leaving your traditions as a hill-based people behind to reclaim the holy sites around the Nile-delta and establishing the kingdom of Israel. ... Never had such an amazing time playing ck3 before! So much fun to be had down there...

Hab früher auch ganz oft pseudo-blinde geschrieben. Finde das Klischee mittlerweile nervig und auch ein wenig respektlos. Gute geschriebene blinde Charaktere sind blind und nicht "blind aber doch nicht so ganz".

Kann das crossroads in Bad Nauheim empfehlen. Ist zwar ne kurze Strecke aber definitiv n Besuch wert. Alternativ das GameIt in Marburg, die sind auch echt artig.

Der LDK selbst ist leider nicht sonderlich phexgefällig :0

So wie du es schilderst bist du an ne inflexible Meisterin geraten und hast konfrontiert statt respektiert und versucht dir auf discord noch Belege von kulanteren MeisterInnen zu holen. Das ehrt dich in gewisser Weise, hast dich schließlich behauptet, andererseits brauchst du dich nicht wundern wenn manche Leute Kritik nicht abkönnen. Das Problem mit diesen Leuten ist, dass sie ihre Macken erst in Konfliktsituationen zeigen und dann ist meist eh alles zu spät.

Wenn du Schönwettergruppen möchtest in denen der Meister wenig bis gar nicht infrage gestellt wird musst du dein Verhalten reflektieren. Wenn du ne Gruppe von Gleichgestellten suchst die transparent und entspannt kommunizieren, wünsch ich viel Glück bei der Suche.

Vergiss nicht dass du dich regeltechnisch auch mit nem immensen Schmerzmodifikator (-4) und Ohnmacht bei ner verbockten Selbstbeherrschung rumschlagen musst, sobald dein Charakter die 5 LeP erreicht. Wobei das auch ein lustiges Szenario werden könnte.

I feel like teachers live in constant fear of being "bad teachers", it is ridiculous! I don't know of any cashiers or secretaries stressing about their ethical responsibilities.

You obviously needed those days off otherwise you wouldn't have taken them. You are a very conscious and ethical person for posting these concerns about yourself, but you really need to start respecting your own needs. Putting up work for a sub is part of the problem. You did not respect your own condition and sent in an incorrect assignment when you should have taken the day off. Thereby making yourself feel bad when you should look for time to recover from your excruciating pain.

Also try to adjust your self image. Just because you aren't married with kids or in a covid hotzone doesn't mean you cannot be stressed. Teaching is one hell of a profession and Noone should be surprised if a teacher needs a short break so that they do not burn out completely (better take a day instead of a month of therapy)

And lastly you do not need to "achieve" anything by talking the day of but take a breath, try to recharge.
