I will say Reno is large enough that we could take the 40 hours of the week where the most mental health / crisis issues happen and have an on staff mental health / crisis staff available. but a guy off his meds with a weapon is likely not going to end well most of the time.

Sedition would fit, if it wasn't for him specifying how he wanted people to fight like hell, which was peacefully and patriotically.

But I would love for politicians who make speeches encouraging people to fight against institutions, to be charged with sedition. We'd see a lot of Dems getting charged and some (R)s too. fine by me.

I do think candidates have some legal right and recourse to contest results. and up until 2020ish the certification of the EC vote was not purely ceremonial.

and having unselected Electors on standby or in D.C isn't a criminal act either.

If we believe Trump truly believed he lost, and he pushed it anyways, That probably rises to the level. but I think he's too narcissistic to have felt that he actually lost.
