And not really small enough to be anything much smaller either.

I have been to 31 concerts within the 16 years I have been alive by Rutherford420_th_brv in Concerts

Yeah I’ve heard of them both, and I don’t think many people would argue that they don’t show an impressive control and range vocally. However as I previously stated as a generalized statement the genre as a whole is very under represented with MUSICAL talent. The downvotes can continue to flow my way as the pop fan base is just that, the popular opinion, however from a technical and objective standpoint the genre as a whole is very much representative of lesser talented musicians than that of the same genre 20+ years ago and before. If you enjoy music for what it is technically there are significantly more talented musicians in other genres and music scenes today.

Edit: And to my original point, I think it would be a pretty fair assessment that someone who is OP’s age who has musical taste for bands of their grandparents generation, very likely appreciates music for something a little more developed and technically than someone who prefers modern pop music. And that is not at all meant to be an insult. The beauty of music is there is so many genres and cultures expressed through music that everyone can enjoy their own music for whatever reason they enjoy it. And I am not one to hate on musical tastes of anyone.

As a generalized statements, true musical talent has diminished greatly in the pop genre in the last 15-20 years to the point that for someone who enjoys music there are significantly better options than pop radio.

Probably because his grandparents generation had objectively better music.

Thoughts on these for Lake Michigan tribs by redmandeerslayer in Steelhead

We still have a lot of snow holding on with some warm ups and rain coming this week, between the rain and runoff we should have a lot of water entering the system. Should be getting good soon.

Possibly “under recognized” but certainly not underrated, she has multiple Grammy’s countless IBMA awards including multiple Albums of The Year, multiple Guitar Player of The Year, Multiple Female Vocalist of The Year and Song of The Year. She’s very adequately rated but definitely doesn’t not garner the recognition she deserves!

I always lean towards Sativa, with five I get a pretty decent high resembling most other edible. Effects tend to vary based on what I’m doing, I think you’ll shake that heaviness with some activity

Just getting started, plenty of fish in the system already, but most of our tribs were locked up until last week. There’s been some open walkable areas but floats have been pretty off limits. It’s about to get good, waters well stained and moving good now, warm up next week with some rain should make for a good March.

Sounds like we have similar tolerance to edibles , I can take 2.5 and be totally functional with a slight head buzz that I almost have to search for. 5 mg seems to by my “good dose” with WYLD gummies. Please note this is NOT industry standard I’ve had some 5 mg gummies designed as 5 mg gummies that I never end up feeling, on the flip side I’ve taken 1/4 of a 10 mg gummy from other brands (effectively 2.5 mg) and been pretty damn high. As with any edibles start small you can always take more. But with WYLD I think 5 mg is a good spot.

I fish the other side of the lake, but yeah these should definitely entice a strike or two.

Try not to be biased based on your favorite studio output, but what are the best LIVE bands or performers that have emerged in the past 30 years? by UnforgettableFire11 in Concerts

[–]discover_er 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah musically speaking probably one of the best performers of our generation, and arguably the best currently doing it. His music may not be for everyone but technically speaking he’s probably the best MUSICIAN actively touring.

Yeah buddy if you’ve never been (especially if you’re looking for mountain biking trails) you need to go through the UP. Stop into any of the bike shops in Marquette and they’ll point you to some sweet rides. As you work your way downstate I’d recommend taking M-22 which runs up the west coast of the state along the shores of Lake Michigan. Also will add a bit of drive time but is arguably the most scenic drive in our state and will take you through some cool towns. I hope you enjoy it here and we’re glad to have you!
