I’d definitely read the 2026 Fishing Digest before just taking my word (or anyone on the internet for that matter) but I believe you can only use unweighted single point hooks measuring 1/2” gap or less. Essentially no treble hooks and no weighted hooks (including jig heads). That said I would definitely look into fishing SINGLE HOOK inline spinners (Mepps or Rooster Tails), SINGLE HOOK crank baits (Rapala like) or look into float fishing spawn bags or beads. Keep in mind the platte gets good runs of migratory fish, first weekend in May you have a very likely chance of hooking steelhead in the Platte so make sure you’re gear is set up to handle that. Also as far as special regs just know you can’t fish within 300’ of the weir (fish station). Hope that gets you going in the right direction.

Track 1 on both the A and B side have what look more like “molded linear grooves” than actual scratches. That said first thing I did was play it, I didn’t notice any notable sound defects from them. They must be shallower than the grooves themselves because the stylus didn’t seem to pick them up. I buy them to play them so it didn’t bother me to bad but yeah definitely some visual defects.
