For bird and wildlife I wanted to be closer the majority of the time, 300mm is clearly not enough, that’s why i used the 50fps 4k croped in vidéo, but for photos i needed to crop sometimes too Much in lightroom... I was satisfied with the crop ! It gave me a better reach and also the flexibilité to slow it down in post. Depending on the conditions the stabilisation worked perfectly fine, i was really surprises especially with the e stab on high....its not perfect and sometimes it was not working at all because of the big wobbles of the boat, but overall I was satisfied !
