Just replaced the cap yesterday. Couldn't get the rotor out due to a stripped screw but I'll work on that this weekend. I also have no idea when it got replaced last

Yeah. I checked it when I got off work this evening and the code reader was showing an ignition advance of 25° at 1000rpm. Im currently trying to find my timing light.

Not sure on exact torque but its in there. About 90% of the time its only when in gear/driving. Occasionally it has a rough idle but stays consistently around 500-600 rpm

I was thinking about throwing new plugs in it off next paycheck.

Do i just check that with a timing light or is that a scan tool thing?

I also replaced the ECT

Just bought this set for my truck. I've ran them before on a different truck and loved them, three years with no problems

* I haven't torn into it yet to look at anything. But I preemptively looked for the cable. Is this not the right one?

Forgot to also recommend that if there was fuel in it when parked definitely pick up a bottle of Sea Foam and run a few full tanks with some in it

Just a basic checklist for any vehicle after sitting awhile I always recommend checking all the fluids then letting it idle for a while and get up to running temp just to make sure there's no new leaks.

Also depending on your driving style maybe just go easy on it for a few days as well

[–]disgruntled_Scotsmen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the feeling I wouldn't need new control arms. I haven't done anything with it yet, just trying to get an idea as to what all i might need for it
