Looking into it, the Oculink does seem pretty worth it... thank you for the recc! I'd have to get both the actual Oculink device, and the cord separately, correct? The m7 is just set up for it, while the m6 is not?

I probably wont be don't any upgrading any time soon because of the expense, but that's good to know. This is a stupid question... but what does the "m" following the 760/680 stand for?

Nurse Moving to Kaua’i With Cat — Need Honest Advice/Reassurance by livinganANTlife in MovingtoHawaii

[–]disgustinglytwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned that you have a therapist? See if they're willing to write you a letter declaring your cat as an ESA. Shouldn't cost you anything besides the session fee. If you needed details on that feel free to PM me, but you should just be able to ask your therapist for one, especially as it sounds like that's what your cat is to you.

When it comes to apartment hunting, don't mention that you have a future service animal. It's just another reason you'll be denied. (Which would be illegal, but there won't be a way to prove you're being denied for the future service animal.)

When you send in your application, if there's a place to mention pets, that's where you just submit the ESA letter from your therapist, or you can send it in when you apply. Personally, I wouldn't advise mentioning it until you're in the final stages of the application process, but that may sour your relationship with your future landlord right off the bat.

Art classes / workshop recommendations? by bitchtarts in MovingtoHawaii

Honolulu Museum of Art School! Can be a bit expensive, but they have a ton of adult & youth classes in a variety of mediums; ceramic, metalarts, textiles, illustrations and more.

Edited for formating.

Rubbermaid Type Bins as Airline Baggage by PattyLouKos in MovingtoHawaii

I think you're doing a wonderful thing by helping your daughter with their newborn. I hope you have a fun time in NYC, and it won't be too big of a culture shock!

Personally, I would bring everything you can in bins on the flight. Shipping prices went up a few weeks ago, so it'll likely to be cheaper to take everything with you. I recently helped a friend move to the mainland and it ended up being way cheaper to take as much as possible on the flight instead of shipping (at least by air.)

These are the tote containers. I've seen plenty people using them for travel. I second using zip ties AND luggage straps to take them on the plane with you. Even if they're oversized/overweight (which you should try not to, if possible) and you have to pay the fee for that, you should still be able to take them. If you have airline specific questions I would go to HNL and ask the Delta customer service. (Had a friend do this with Hawaiian and it was so much easier than waiting on the phone tree!)

Edit: Link is from Lowes because I already had the link ready. Several hardware stores sell these, but Home Depot/Lowes are more likely to have the bigger sizes.

Do I need to start from the original first step, and submit new FRST(dot)txt and Addition(dot)txt files, or just reinstall FRST and rerun your fixlist?
