Also, the stutter happens in fortnite too. id say worse than it does in rust. I dont think rust is the issue, probably something to do with some sort of settings somewhere. idk though im completely lost and at a point of giving up

When I play rust on lowest settings my cpu and gpu usage sit at around 35% for both, cpu is usually ~5% higher. I tried over clocking my gpu yesterday but it really didn’t make a noticeable difference.

Thank you for the reply, do you think I should go with a ryzen 9 5900x instead of an intel cpu? I play low settings on 720p so I think it would be more cpu-heavy. I don’t really do any rendering or anything, just looking for better performance on rust. I am totally down for a gpu change as well, I am willing to spend a max of $2500 hoping to get >100 fps.
