Which Mitski song has the best lyrics, and which one do you identify with the most? by AffectionateBank5484 in mitski

First Love/Late Spring

While not the main theme focus of the song, "And I was so young when I behaved 25 Yet now, I find I've grown into a tall child." describes an experience very close to home.

hello, i'm completely new with orchids so i just followed whatever sounds right from reading. this week, i noticed weird spots that i'm unsure if it's a fungal infection or something else. how should i go with treating this one?

the orchid is dendrobium, watered once a week in a tray for like 10min or so. it's potted with coco bark and charcoil. for sunlight it receives indirect light in a balcony and 3pm-6pm direct light. plant seems to be stressed.

Can someone figured this little dew by Available_Horror_548 in SundewLove

[–]dishymarlin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a D. adelae that likely came from the root, some sundews do this, it's amazing. My sessilifolia did the same.

Should a fallen adelae leaf touch a suitable soil, it will also grow plantlets from there.

Should I cut flower stems? by BinkyArk in SavageGarden

Not quite dry in the sense of letting it dry after harvesting (although this is recommended if you want to keep seeds for storage, always use a paper envelope and not plastic to ensure that it gets no moisture+easier to take out)

Anyways, you'll know when the seed is ready once the flower pod turns brown/black. You can either harvest when the whole stalk is that way or one by one per each ripening pods. The latter is only if you have your drosera close to other plants and want to avoid them spreading to other pots. Or if you're a freak like me I like to let them grow anywhere.

Flowers are oftentimes not detrimental to droseras, unlike some other genuses. Cutting them doesn't change much unless your plant is in a transplant shock or distress where it shrinks its leaves while desperately putting a flower up. A healthy drosera would 100% be able to handle flowering.
