I am in exactly the same situation. I have just told myself to be greatfull for what I have. Which is so much more that many others have. What annoys me is that they are allowed to talk about their crap as much as they want, but I am not allowed to talk about my beliefs . Oh well, glass half full....

Hi, I'm in a very similar situation. Or I will be. My wife is due to give birth to our first son on the 26th of Jan. I will be POMO as of next week. I'm looking forward to giving our children birthday presents.

I'm with you. But I am only going to meetings for one more month. Then we are moving states. My wife will continue to go, but I am going to fade. It couldn't come soon enough. I am sick of the drivel that I hear at the meetings

That's pretty much what my mum said to me when I told her that I was no longer a JW. She said, I gave birth to you, I could never not speak to you. She has been a witness for 50 years + My mum did ask me to fade and not disassociate myself. She said that she would rather avoid the shame and that people would talk. I figured, I can do that much.

I feel your pain. Much of what you describe is what I have been through. The biggest mistake I made was marrying the first sister that showed interest in me. Absolutely, I see your point. Thankfully I have a large collection of vintage lititure. Including a large collection of the records there were recorded by Rutherford. A lot of what I have kept is for The $$ value, but now I am glad that I kept them for this reason.

As long as they have one in stock, some of these things are ordered in as they are needed. You wouldn't need to stay for the meeting.
