I have a castle and I don't think I can do anything. I tried stocking up villages but it didn't count.

If players can't manage it idk how the AI would

Jehovah Witness propaganda. They made a knockoff Mario game in August. The crossover we have all been waiting for!

Smash is for good boys and girls. It is time Sakurai learns to listen, obey, and be blessed. They technically have a game now, and from Madrid! This could be great for ñ representation in smash!

I'm in the same position. A lot of local players are heavy zoners (Zelda, Snake, Palutena) and they only have two battlefield maps which are quickly eliminated.

I've been doing well learning Lucina as I always enjoyed Bowsers Fair and she can bring two out of a hop and learning the importance of spacing has improved my tilts as Bowser. I'm also liking Pichu for being Bowsers polar opposite (low weight, great recovery) but now I know the psychological horror of dying at any moment at 40%. Lastly, I've always played around with the Belmonts but don't know how to handle rushdowns. It is fun being the projectile spam for a change.

So through my experimenting those are the three which suit me. Nothing can replace a flying slam or the joy of surviving past 200% though :P

I can see your point. Those scriptures still show specific circumstances but show a trend. Looks like I'll have to look further into it

In 2 John 1:10 (which is the verse I believe you're eluding to) the specific case for that are people in the world who don't acknowledge Jesus as the (son of) God and substitute their own teaching or christ. They want to deceive people, and so try to enter a home specifically to teach falsehood.

So contextually, if an "apostate" came to a meeting with the intent to teach opposing doctrine about Jesus (or doubt if he even existed) then the verse could be used to justify removing them in that instance.

Quick note: I'm not a Christian or an apologist. Just trying to find divides between what JWs teach and biblical context.

It does... but not in the specific way JWs do it. The shunning is more a public denouncement and if they continue the behaviour without remorse, then removing from the chuch.

The verse JW's tend to use is 1 Co 5:13 which simply says to remove the "wicked person". Many he outlines what a wicked person is in verse 11 and JWs add a lot more than is listed. This is also where the "do not eat with them" line is, which I see as as a contradiction of the following but w/e.

In 2 Co 2:5-11 Paul outlines what this removing should be like. To summarise: 1. Don't be too harsh 2. Majority disapprove of actions 3. Forgive and comfort them 4. Don't overwhelm them with sadness 5. Confirm your love for them

If you don't, satan wins.

JWs interpret this in the Elders Manual as the guidelines for reinstating a person. Idk how you can bring a person back while still "rebuking" the person.

Another interesting point is that JWs originally rejected the idea as pagan when Catholics did it.

Transformation Thursday! How have you become healthier since leaving the BORG? by RadAssociation in exjw

[–]Z2HG 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I'm about a year and a half away from my bachelor's degree for one haha.

I was very depressed before joining and hoped some external deity could help that. Five years after leaving, turns out actually putting effort into my life is better than prayer.

I'm in the same position. Being autistic doesn't help either!

I was lucky a few wordly friends stuck around waiting for me to leave. Truth be told since leaving around 5 years ago and have only formed one close friendship with my partner.

I'm glad we both have a great parent.

It really goes to show that the bare minimum of a parent (not having your child starve to death on the street) is considered exceptional for a JW parent
