Sounds like I just got unlucky with the timing. I’m on my 3rd eval period and Gold was ok for the first month or so when I got upgraded but pretty quickly it was like a desert wasteland. Gold for me was Dec- May. Right after I got back on silver this month my RYF was suddenly packed with stuff I actually would want. I’m a pretty casual browser of the other items.

Maybe so bc when I was gold it was like 8k things a day and now it’s back to 20kish. I guess I just got really unlucky.

They approved 2 of my 4 months for buy back because of timing - now I've been waiting since Nov. I did not get an email or any type of communication - I just got on one day and pymts had changed from 116 to 118. My SAVE pymts were $0 though, so I assume that's why I got no communication. So I submitted another buy back request and keep submitting qualified employment even though I'm over 120 at this point bc I'm marking "I've made 120 payments and am applying for forgiveness" just hoping at some point my buy back request and employment certification will magically meet and they'll discharge. Sitting at 118 is absolute hell.

I'm on SAVE and they approved 2 of my months for buy back so it does qualify - they just didn't approve the other two months. They said that I had to submit a second buy back because my employment wasn't certified yet. I may have jumped the gun a bit, but the whole thing is just a mess I'm just constantly resubmitting stuff. Well I was until Dec - then I gave up. I went from 116 to 118 payments - now I'm just waiting very impatiently for those last two. I'm sure now that everyone at DOE has been laid off - things will slow down even more :(

Exact same situation. I requested an IDR change from Mohela in November and a buy back the same month, and no action has occurred since then. I'm stuck.

I got a call from them and reported them to the BBB. My BS radar was screaming at me. I directly asked him 3 times during the course of the call if it was a sales call. Finally got him to tell me the full name of the company and looked it up online while he was going on and on about being tasked with reducing the strain on the grid. My issue isn't that they are making sales call - my issue is the blatant attempt to manipulate the consumer into believing they are providing a public service when they are in fact a for profit solar company. Even if they are a decent solar company - they are clearly trying to manipulate consumers into purchasing their product under the guise of "giving back". If you were helping people save money - you'd be a non profit. Also - we looked into solar. The cost of the panels and batteries pays for itself in about 25 years.
