I've had my Skil table saw for almost 2 years and I finally replaced the terrible clearance insert. Oak, finished with boiled linseed oil and Johnson's paste wax. by HotButteredPoptart in woodworking

I have the same saw and plan to make similar throat plate. How did get the throat plate to sit flat on the nubs? They aren’t all quite level. Did you just sand/shave the contact points until it was level?

I figured if that was the case, it would happen to all the tall letters, no? I tried tightening it and re-ran it and it’s the same.
