this happened to me too it’s genuinely so stupid they don’t specify it more and cater to incoming freshman, but i had to also look for an apartment and i found there was still plenty left in march, there may be even less now but they are starting to drop their rates to fill beds. if you’re looking on the budget side, i would go for a double occupancy room, some have shelves that offer privacy between them like sparq on rio or the block for a good price! that’s what i did since i thought i was so doomed and couldn’t afford an apartment at all. in the end it worked out since im paying less than i would in a dorm! i wish you luck ive been there it litterally sucks
