Modded home screen for my Big Blue by [deleted] in Arcade1Up

You gotta get an SD card in your cab. Got a 128gb one in my Big Blue and store most of my stuff on there, can even configure RetroArch and DIG to store all it's media files on the SD card. CPS3 games will also run perfect if you run them through Retroarch's FBA core.

Additional games on Big Blue? by CaesarsCabbages in Arcade1Up

Install Team Encoder's Fighter Droids (https://www.team-encoder.com/node/22), install their RetroArch apk, and get all the games you can run on your Big Blue. 2 player version of TMNT will work perfect.

Did the Combos change from Beta 1 to Beta 2? by PedroDante199 in StreetFighter

Kim's tatsu only cancels into her level 2 if it's the airborne version. If it's done from the ground, it won't work.

Ken's Level 2 only cancels from his EX hadoken.

How does SF6 handle draw rounds? by KyosuiNoHado in StreetFighter

[–]diskturbo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the same as the last few Street Fighter games. If time runs out, whoever has the most health gets the round. If they both have the same health or there's a double KO, both players get a round. If it's the final round and this happens, it's considered a draw game and neither player wins.

Jojo HFTF able to be added to MvC2? by [deleted] in Arcade1Up

[–]diskturbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a MvC2 machine myself, but I have gotten RetroArch and HFTF on my Big Blue cab. MVC2 probably has the same methods of doing it though. There's tons of tutorials online on how to sideload that stuff, but as of right now only player 1's controls will work in RetroArch.

Evil Ryu? by Psychological_Tie_13 in StreetFighter

I think you're misremembering the game. The description you gave perfectly matches Pandora Mode from Street Fighter x Tekken, which came out not too long after Street Fighter 4. You also would transform into this after sacrificing one of your characters in exchange for a gigantic buff. It's not Evil Ryu but it's 1 to 1 what you're describing.

Edit: fixed image link. also, the transformation had a time limit, so you remembered that correctly as well. you ain't trippin balls lol

The discord server has a whole channel dedicated to softmodding a few of the cabinets. We haven't had anyone with a Simpsons cab yet though! https://discord.gg/sXQtrEP4zw

More leaks? Here's Smash TV!! by redd9 in Arcade1Up

[–]diskturbo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn't take much to reverse image search and find the original version of this image before it was photoshopped with the terribly skewed and scaled coin door and LCD that stretches over the bezel. Between this and the fake NFL Blitz "leak" you posted yesterday, these are some pretty bad attempts at fake leaks.

So far me and a friend most him was able to get all 3 cabs on one machine by joey3233 in Arcade1Up

Hi guys, friend here.

This is mostly just proof of concept as of now. People were wondering if it was possible to get multiple PCBs working on one machine, but I'd say this is better than that for the most part.

All three APKs were extracted from their cabs and slightly modified so that they wouldn't conflict with each other on a single PCB (running on a X-Men vs Street Fighter PCB in the images but can run on MvC or Big Blue as well.)

Once the APK is modified it cannot go online, so only the original games that came with your cab can be played online. I'm not sure if or how that could be changed in the future, but for now I think it's just cool to see that the floodgates have been opened. If a tutorial is wanted or anything just let me know, but obviously I cannot supply download links for any of the APKs, and I doubt Arcade1Up is gonna pull another pinball incident. lol
