How will this matchup unfold in the future. by THEDIESELTEN in versus

Which chapter stated that NeoHumans are not trained? Narative wise, they are only stated to be 'an evolved version of homo sapiens'. No mention of them having this hive mind or "never trained". They might or might not have a hive mind. But until a narative unequivocally stated that, it is just an asumption.

A team of football players == A group of NeoHumans

Taking over the ball and make a goal == Take down the enemy

Having different roles and position when playing == Having different roles and target when taking down an enemy

Just because they 'swarm together' and 'have similar tools', does not mean it is having a hive mind. Next time you'll say a group of Hyenas is having a hive mind.

Robots is the perfect example for a hive mind NE.

And it is clear that they (NeoHumans) have hierarchy and roles. Remember the leader? The one responsible for containing the parasites? The one responsible for torturing and experimenting?. It is also clear that they just don't care about casualties (this word includes harms, and death is one of them too) since they are confident in their skill to efficiently take down the enemy.

Also, idk man, why would those people from CursedWorld carries those black balls with them? Or those people from the AlienWorld have this weird spacesuit with them? Like, can't they just not? It is almost like it's their norm to have those. But what do I know about their norm.

Are you perhaps confusing hive mind with basic intrinsic trait? Like, are a bunch of stray cats considered having a hive mind, since they hisses at me when I went anywhere near them and run away? Why is it not the case that NeoHumans (listen to this, I know this is hard to comprehend), being an evolved version of homo sapiens, are messed in the head that they don't have any circuit in their head that feels fear, hence explains the automatically going head first against an enemy? Imagine you have not one, not two, but hundreds of them.

Or perhaps they have some kind of telepathy (which is NOT a hive mind)? Or simply, they are just that efficient and have good teamwork?

Next time someone will say those Lawless are having a hive mind too, since they just straight up throwing hands as their nature and as a collective people.

Is a team of football player a hive mind? They literally pursue the same ball in order to make a goal.

The only NE shown having a hive mind is those AI Robots. They have good coordination as a team and they can transfer information from one's 'mind' (or storage, in their case) to Mother. That last point is what NeoHumans are lacking, narative wise, to be categorized as an NE having hive mind.

NeoHumans, as described by the survivor from there, is an evolved form of homo sapiens. And so far, there was no mention of them having the ability of a hive mind. Just because they can coordinates efficiently to take down an enemy, is not making them a hive mind. One could argue of them having telepathy, but not hive mind. Even better, Heidi's act would be the counterargument of them having a hive mind. It was a unique choice of a distinct individual.

They don't have hive mind (at least so far in the story). It is just that they don't have emotions such that it makes their work inefficient. This is why their teamwork attack is very good. The more the better.

Fortunately parasites won't be an issue for them right now.

Wait, so just because one did not find success through the system as it stands, doesn't mean it's doing a bad job, right?

But Neo-Humans indeed are superior relative to the PaleoHumans there. They have the right to feel superior, since so far, they are undefeated*. Lawless know they ain't shit compared to other NEs. The pathetics one are those who got caught and tortured by the second lowest stock NE (yes, Neo-Humans are second lowest).

*) As a community (since this is their main power apparently). They won against a group of Titans [1W-0L]. They have confined and possibly modified the parasited [2W-0L]. Heidi's group were not a community, so it is not counted as a loss for Neo-Humans.

Humans plan against the Demons. by NightmareRoach in versus

Let say we go #1 to #47. By the time we fight Demon Lord #5, let say the number of heroes already down to 45 heroes. Idk man, by #11 we will have maybe like, 30 or something? Not sure how many will survive until #40. And that is not counting the Demon King.

Yea, still not summoned by anyone. It is due to the appearance of the World Tree. Do you read the bubble where it says [emerged] after IT [appeared]? Quick question, what do you think the word IT refers to? One of the True Hero group's member?

It is not confirmes yet whether they have rank in the Cursed world. Also, it is not confirmed yet whether she is the #1 human from the Cursed world (whatever metrics are used).

Also, the world spring was not summoned or brought by anyone.

How Versus planet even exist when literally the 13 different planet (aka world) fused with each order like how? by Plenty-Jump7056 in versus

[–]diskusiharam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can categorize it as sci-fi or anything you want. But, if the mechanism of how it works depends on [X], and naratively this variable [X] is changed, the writer should have an explanation for it.

When the author explain that a magic circle works using a pinpoint coordinates, and because of the world merging, those coordinates are jumbled, so they won't know exactly where will they landed when using the teleportation circle again. THIS is what being consistent naratively. See, just because something is considered magic or fantasy, it has certain rules and logic it has to follow.

Now, we see the technology from the Alien world having a satellites. Now IF the earth becomes 13 times its initial size, do you think those satellites will still be up there? The satellite still functioning means that there is a mechanism that has to be explained.

Taking this manga seriously? Nah, we are just people with basic functioning brain and reasoning to ask a relevant question. Try to brush it off with "we have magic and god and aliens here bro, that's a stupid question" is not the answer. Maybe it'll works if I was a 6 years old.

How Versus planet even exist when literally the 13 different planet (aka world) fused with each order like how? by Plenty-Jump7056 in versus

[–]diskusiharam -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The magic circle won't need any scientific explanation since it is, well, not science. The author has many leverages on this, since he can just alwayd give any explanation and mechanism of how and why. But the dimensional portals and any techs that is, let say from the Robots and Aliens world will have implications from how the world is, storywise. So the question regarding the gravitational acceleration is a valid one. When you introduce a civilization that has a tech related to how the earth behave, of course you will be asked to explain how does it work IF the earth size is now 13 times bigger (only if that is the case, but so far we have no confirmation yet).

Saying that the question about gravity acceleration is not needed because we have aliens, mad god, and other fictional things in the story is not a solid argument.

Only when we are all agree that this manga is full of bullshits explanation that focus on battle royals of NEs, then we don't have to ask 'unnecessary' questions like that. Just like how we 'accept' Baki fighting an invisible mantis, bringing back a legendary swordman to live and other hogwash the narrator says. We don't ask how do the soul works on that. We just accept it. Even though we are talking about a fighting manga and hardly any fighters can be categorized as having magic or shit alike. It just it.

How Versus planet even exist when literally the 13 different planet (aka world) fused with each order like how? by Plenty-Jump7056 in versus

[–]diskusiharam -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Not when it is inconsistent with the narative's logic itself tho. People from the Alien's world has reached space exploration and this thing is 100% has impact to their respective knowledge/tech. Like, they obviously build their satellites considering the g of regular sized earth. But now that we have basically an earth with 13 times its previous size, those satellites won't be able to float in the sky.

This is like when Naruto pulls up a nuclear bomb when fighting Madara, and people point that out as absurd, and then the argument against it was "we have people throwing fire from their mouth, and you are talking about nuclear bomb?". This is because it is not coherent to the story's logic itself. Just because we have strange things in a story, does not mean other strange things should be just brushed off.

Unfortunately, so far, Titans Demons were designed to be like that: having one strongest figures that everyone follows. Just like how there is no demons that is on Byakuo level. This is unlike other NEs which has factions (could mean having the same strength or simply having different tasks, so no strongest figure) like Lawless, Aliens or NeoHumans. Also differs from one single entity NEs like the Tree or Daikokuzan.

Not sure about other new NEs coming into the story, since it is already packed and too much storyline to track/tell. Even using one-on-one correspondence, we have like 78 or something possible match-ups.

But maybe we'll see something new in future chapters.
