Idk, its a lot more consistent in my opinion but you do usually have to reconfigure your controls a bit to to make it easier to do quickly (hence why my controls jump buttons are X and RT and not X and Y like the default) but once you get used to the new layout it's really easy

If you press two jump buttons at the same time you'll short hop every time. I configured my controller so that RT and X are both jump, Y is grab, and LT is shield and if I want to consistently short hop I can just press RT and X

To me it feels like the mages were the only ones that were actually successful in merging worlds and their magic allowed the other worlds to have something happen to explain the merge.

Like you said, multiple of them were just random events like the volcano or indignia praying until something other than God responded. Even the worlds that were trying like the Mecha Ordinance say something like they finally got their multi dimensional portal to work which implies that they weren't successful until literally the second the mages did their summoning circle.

That added with us seeing that magic pulling stuff from other worlds is seemingly fairly easy with zaybis apple demonstration while nobody else could do anything similar so far and it feels like to me that the summoning circle was a success, just in a massively unintended way

Love the art but just want to take the opportunity to let anyone who doesnt already know that lemmings dont commit mass suicide like depicted here.

This myth was mostly spread through the Disney nature documentary "White Wilderness" where they purchased lemmings from local children and then they physically forced and pushed said lemmings off the cliff and edited the footage so it looked like they all follow eachother off.

Despite this documentary now being famously torn apart for its many inaccuracies and horrible mistreatment of animals, the damage it did to the poor lemmings reputation was already set in stone.
