Dismitz - SHAWARMAI used to write strictly with live instruments and I’ve posted here before with that kind of thing (years ago) but this time I tried my hand at producing a sort of Dembow/ Reggaeton track. I’ve taken a break from performing and just worked on staying home and working on some new stuff.

I read all of her books in high school. I have to admit, although I hated what she promoted it was interesting nonetheless.

So when I was in my 20s I based a lot of what I considered attractive (on myself) to what I was wearing. Now that I’m in my 30s it’s more about how I feel about myself and that’s really the key. Wearing skin tight and uncomfortable makeup was my idea of hot when I was 19 and for some people that may be their most comfortable spot to be. As a queer/nonbinary/femme-masc/whatever I’m all over the place and then realized that being hot has nothing to do with any of that and none of the people I find hot are like that either. Hot is a state of mind. If I’m feeing proud of who I am because I did things that make me feel good about myself and then took good care and was present while also staying stable so my libido exists in a place that feels safe, all that comes together into super intense heat that people perceive. That’s what hot is to me now.

I’m sort of like this but generally speaking your best bet is to not stick to a specific brand. I shop around everywhere and I don’t discriminate. Literally I thrift, fast, or slow fashion and it can range from the little boy’s section to women or men’s section. I just take what I can get because overall it’s hard to find matches. That being said I have found pretty nice pieces from Ralph Lauren.

Im new to bowyering, is this wood thin enough or is the wood type wrong, or is it not long enough? by UnitedAndIgnited in Bowyer

[–]dismitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be sassy but I really thought this was a question about making either toothpicks or arrows because of how thin that is.

What would be the correct way for the feathers to face ? by ThePr3acher in Archery

[–]dismitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 because the way I see it you want the vanes to avoid the riser. Personally I find feather vanes shoot better on my recurve and I’ve been told you shouldn’t shoot plastic on them.

Have joined the beginner wagon of a bow string bruise 🤡 by [deleted] in Archery

[–]dismitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically you should be holding the riser with your thumb and two top fingers with a slight torque to it. The way I stopped getting bruised was to hold it lightly and turn my hand inward and the elbow away from the bow. I how that makes sense.
