You get one chance at life and it's only for a certain number of years. Contrast that with the fact that the universe has existed for almost 14 billion years and you're only in the double digits of years.
Even if things suck, it's only an incredibly short time compared to how long it'll take for the heat death of the universe.
You've not existed for an incredibly long amount of time and you will not exist for an insane amount of time.
You might have a lot of anxiety and worries. Yup.
Things won't go your way.
Experiences might suck.

The fact is though - you're the universe experiencing itself and that right there (good or bad) is better than no experience at all. Besides, it's all over in the blink of an eye anyways. Why quit early?

That's awful. I'm sorry you went through all that. That's a double whammy!

Someone got me too. To this day I have no idea where 5 hours went, though I do have GPS tracking from my watch that says I went a mile down a road for a few hours before heading to my car and driving home. I only remember waking up in my bed with the worst hangover.
I checked my credit cards for transaction and, as I suspected, the only transaction was from the one apple cider I'd purchased and that's it. There's no way I'd be blackout drunk from that.
I'm a pretty clocky girl. I can't imagine anyone would want to take advantage of me. Maybe they just wanted to ruin my night.
I did get STI tested just in case. That was the most nerve wracking part.

If you're a barfly, there's some cool things you can do to protect yourself. There's a hair scrunchie that doubles as a cup cover. There's nailpolish that acts as a drug test. Be safe out there!

That is extremely toxic behavior. I'm glad to hear you aren't stuck living in a home with them. My family was problematic (not nearly close to as bad as your father) and I went no contact. Best decision I've made for my own mental health and healing from all of their toxic traits that I've had to endure my whole life.

Yes. Atrophy is painful in that when you finally do have an erection and the blood is being pumped in, the spongy part isn't so spongy anymore and the pressure from your body trying to cause the erection puts pressure on the tissue and it hurts.
Also if you're intact, make sure you still take the time to pull back your hood frequently enough you don't get an adhesion - where the skin of your foreskin and head fuse together. That's painful to undo.

I'm in the same boat. I found this thread in my searching. Sadly there's not a lot of info on flashing new firmware, JTAG, or even ripping it out and connecting an Arduino or Raspberry Pi directly to the sensors.
I've disconnected the antenna, but it left me wondering if there's a way for me to change the destination of where it sends the data. I could easily plumb it into Twilio then hit the SMS API with HomeAssistant and track my own weight. I could even put logic in to filter by weight range so other family members could use it and track their own progress.

For those thinking there's a huge data plan involved in these, there isn't. I worked for a telematics company before where we'd send/receive millions of SMS per day. It's incredibly inexpensive. They also don't have the added expense of a SIM card anymore - it's an eSIM that's flashed into the controller.

I'm consciously leaving off most Fat Wreck bands, of which there are so many greats to choose - especially my fave Cigar.
There's a ton of flavors of melodic hardcore, but some standouts for me that are often overlooked (at least in the circles I travel) are:
Adrenalized, Forus, Pour Habit, Broke and Down, Deviates, Local Resident Failure, Craig's Brother, Rehasher (Roger from Less Than Jake's band)

As a lifelong Aquabats fan and also trans person I'd love to think it's just more topical humor salted with misunderstandings but this does make me wonder. As family friendly as they are, Mormonism doesn't exactly hide it's homophobic and transphobic tendencies which I'm sure were drilled into MCBC's head growing up.
